Contrary to her claim these items have been discussed and dealt with and there was and is no issue with bed bugs. We have spoken with Mrs. [redacted] as well as the home owner, who confirmed he has never had any issues with bed bugs in his unit. We no longer feel any of these items are an...
outstanding issue. We did not receive an email or phone call from Mrs. [redacted] or her husband during their stay, it was only after they left that she emailed us and demanded a full refund.
I am very aware of the gravity of this situation and her concerns. However, since we were not made aware of any of these issue during the stay we had no way of making this right for Mrs. [redacted] and her family. She called the office three times on Thursday, August 18th, which was never a question on our end, however she did not leave a single message that day or call back anytime during the remainder of her stay to voice her concerns. We were on the phone or away from our desk when she called and would have called her back immediately and found alternative accommodations if she had left a message or contacted us in any other way, via email, etc. She and her family stayed the entire weekend without contacting us with their complaints and concerns and then emailed us after their stay demanding a full refund. It doesn’t add up given the level of concern she is claiming on her end. Like I mentioned in a prior response, if we had been contacted and were made aware of her dissatisfaction we would have done anything and everything to satisfy her and her family, but we cannot give a full refund when they stayed the entire weekend without contacting us. I’m sorry she had such a bad experience, this is not common with our renters and no other renter has complained once about that property all summer.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11683040, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. They did not provide a safe, clean place for rent, as agreed upon. This will not stop until they offer a refund.
