I have purchased several cars from Gwatney a promised myself after my last experience I would not use them ever again, that being said my husband talked me into working with the same salesman again and I'm all about 2nd chancesThe Buick I purchased I had awful service on there was a time when I had to be there times in one week always waiting longer than quoted always another parts than days before then I get in my car at the dealership and it won't start they look at and say Oh you need a new battery and that will cost blah blah blahRidiculous ! So I traded it in with the worst salesman ever !!!! I got a Yukon Denali this time and from the finance office things went bad! I was told the deal requested money down we never spoke about this with our salesman at all , after agreeing to go through the with this when we tried to register it it was in someone else's name and had a lien against after about 4-mo he did get to register it but it still is flagged in someone else's name! Then there was a crack in the dash made a apt for a new one came back after days and no car and it was patched and the color didn't match just unexceptable work while the salesman tried to convince me he sees thousands and you can't tell so after complaining I got a new dash which still continues to bubble and crack so now my air goes out to I called for service apt only to find out there is nothing in the computer saying I have a warranty, it is used but was under 50,miles and I had to pieces of paper work that stated "full warranty" so I called my salesman and rather than working it out he never gave any history he just had a finance person try to sell me a extended warranty so I repeat the problem to this guy and he calls the next day and says they will do nothing then quotes me a warranty that was 3x the amount than GMAC actually quoted meThey are thieves in my book and our salesman should never be able to lie or cheat another soul! This has been one of the biggest mistakes I've ever been involved inI would love to write more but the best I can say is go to Everett they will truly take care of you, they took care of Gwatney's issue

Absolutely Horrible repair shop to do business with Will quote you prices for repairs when nothing is wrong with the vehicle Ended up with shock and strut parts, that cost roughly $250, that I was told needed to be repaired on my car Got a second opinion, and that was not the case! Shocks and struts were just fine Needed a transmission flush, and the "technician" failed to put enough transmission fluid in my car could have caused major damage if I didn't pay attention to the faint rattling noise coming from my hood Also, careless mistakes such as leaving the cap off of the oil reservoir after draining the oil, is an amateur mistake that I don't expect "properly trained" technicians to makeThey called themselves replacing a thermostat, and engine went completely hot after a few days They said the end part of the hose was shot What trained mechanic puts a worn out hose back on a vehicle?? Instead of the service manager accepting responsibility for the mistake, he tried to blame it on a bad radiator hose, instead of accepting responsibility that it was improperly reattachedAdditionally, the service manager, David Sample, tried to re-neg on an agreement that I'd only have to pay for half of the cost of the radiator I had to get the cops involved The sad part is that all of this happened and the service representatives were all aware of exactly what was agreed upon the day priorI asked the "Service Advisor" Jonathan, about the higher charge twice, and he did not provide an until I got the cop involved At which point he was trying to quote a higher price It went from MrSample asking me to agree to pay 1/the cost of the radiator which was $300; to him quoting a price of $when the repairs were complete because he was upset that I filed a complaint; which he brought up in a heated discussionAfter an unnecessary back and forth discussion about his dishonesty and going back on the price, he finally caved I thought it was highly unprofessional that a receipt with the cost of the radiator was printed out and given to me, and then a yellow sticky note was attached with the hand printed amount of "$198," which I retained as proof of the deceitfulness when half of the cost of the radiator was $ I highly advise that anybody who wants to maintain their vehicle in working condition does NOT conduct business with Gwatney They are bad for business, dishonest, and their lack of professionalism is beyond compareDealing with Gwatney repair shop for a number of years, I expected a higher degree of service and professionalism Gwatney GMC in Sherwood is being reported to the Revdex.com, and there was a complaint made to GM Please spare yourself the trouble, and go to a reputable service and repair shop
