It's unfortunate whenever things in life don't go according to planWe set out to conduct this move with the fullest intentions on delivering the most highest level of services at the fairest priceIn this situation everything went smooth until we arrived at the drop off locationThis move was supposed to be a day move from the beginningThe first day was supposed to be all packing and the 2nd day was supposed to be the pick up and drop offOn the original day that was scheduled for [redacted] I gave him his courtesy call which is our protocolOn this day [redacted] I notified him that the crew was on their way to conduct the first part of the move [redacted] informed me that he made a mistake on the dates and that he would not be ready for services until the following dayDuring the busiest time of the year for us, I moved somethings around and was able to switch his datesWe agreed to try to do the packing and the move all in one day because we were booked solid for the rest of the monthWe scrambled throughout the most of the day to try and get this doneOur estimate was based on a certain amount of items to moved and packed, but for what we were given compared to what we actually moved was a huge difference We finally finished packing and loading what we could fit and headed over to the destinationUpon arriving at the destination we realized that MrJackson's new place had a tremendous amount of steps up to the 3rd floor condo on one of the busiest streets downtown and we had a fully loaded ft truckWe tried to speed up the process to take some of the stress off of our guys and some time off for [redacted] by sending him additional helpThe job initially had guys scheduled for it but on the drop off we had an supervisor meet the crew as well as an additional mover to assistThey finished up and [redacted] paid a portion of his bill in cash and signed all the contractsThe move ended up taking an additional day to complete anywayOn the second day we sent a crew back to the first location to grab all the miscellaneous items that were left behindIn addition to that the crew took pictures of the empty property and texted them to our office in which we still haveThe guys loaded up and headed over to deliver the rest of the items as agreedThe job was complete and the paperwork was again signed by MrJacksonOur company did not charge [redacted] until a few days later after reviewing all of the contracts that were turned in by the crewWe did NOT hear from [redacted] until a month later when we realized he filed a dispute with the credit card companyAt this time [redacted] reply was that he did it by accident and because he didn't recognize the chargesOne of our salesman called [redacted] to discuss the charge back and explained to him the repercussions of filing a claim and did threaten to file a police report for theft of services and to place him in collections There was never any claim for damage, theft, or fraud submitted by [redacted] We learned about his claim through a negative review left by the gentleman on 11/18/We called him on 11/to mediate the situation but he informed us that his father passed away and didn't want to talkI called [redacted] again today 11/to try to find out how we could help him but he did not wish to speak to usI'd like to say that regardless of the harsh accusations brought against us we are still willing to work with [redacted] to resolve this issueHad we known that he was totally unsatisfied with his services back in September we would have addressed them thenWe had no knowledge of this situation as he never contacted us directlyWe are not and have not ever in our thousands of moves completed in this industry, been accused of theft, fraud or deceptionOur overall goal is to please our customer but we can not do so without open lines of communications We wish him all the best!!

I am rejecting this response because: the facts arevnotbsubject for debate pr fabricating The move itself rangedvover theee days on a holiday weekend which was not planned The move was to take place on Friday of Labor Day weeked but stretched into All day Saturday, and cost twice what was edtimated the data collection tool was filled out accurately based on what it requested and was in hindsight represntative of the scale and quantity of goods I needed moved The packers did a terrible job and often used incorrect aboxes to oack thinfs they also finished up early on Thurday evening assuring me that"the rest of the house would be easy to pack up on Friday morning" They even took apart my grandmothers antique dining room table that had never been dissasembeledbfor no reason at all - it came into my homw assembeld by much more skilled movers and would have essily fit into my new home withiut breaking it down I expressed dismay at the poor quality move verbally at the time in respknse to thebcomaobys own admission that"the packing and move were a disaster" and reeived what I felr at the time was a palty discount I was so traumatized by the sheer and utter dissarray they left me ini did not report the damages or theft of items because it took me two months (i have a full time demanding career with lots of travel) to figure out what I had andbwhst was missing ! I halso ehen their company represetative called he didnt call to assess my satisfaction; he called to threaten me after I discovered the fraudelent charges and reported it to my bank the other two calls happened the day of and two days aftwr the devastating loss of my fahet Both times the caller was rude unprofessional and threatening both times I was driving and indicated as such yet the caller attempted to launch into detailed discussions; on the first occassion I explained that my father had literally hust dird andbhing up on hom Before u had a chance to phone these charlatans back they called me again I just xplaiens thst I wanted my attorney present and I woukd call them to set up a time to speak after Thanksgiving These people lied to the bank sauing that me andbmy spude signed the bills of lading in am effort to try and explain away the obvious fact that I signed three of the bills and they fforged the other bill(s) of lading these people do nothing but try to intimidate and bully their way into getting what they want and it was clear from the way I was originally treated there was little sense in me coming back to them when I did finally unpack wnoufh to accurately asssess what was missing as it was outside their measly window of liability I didnt raise concernnabout thisbar the time because I nevrvimagined being moved so poorly it woukd take two months to get out of the boxes they packed me into lastly there is simply no excuse for leaving a full bathroom, linen closet and guest room sans bed and night stands completely unpackedband not moved l when I realized this it was the middle of the night on Sunday and I had a tennant moving in the next say there was not time to call these individuals and ask them to finish the job nor did I want these unsavory individuals around me or my things any more I reject this response from the business becsuse they fomported themselves unprofessionally havevnot been honest in their response or dealings with me choosing instead to resort to verbal threats at every turn and through their harrassment havevmade it very difficult for me to grieve and bury my father in peace Their response does not accurately address the fact they fraudenetly charged my card for $worth of moving services that I didnt authorize nor sign for and continue to tell half truths bout their sub standard uproffessional move andnpacking performnce FYI they stole my ladder and stero receiver and just as an example of their abject incompetence packed and moved my Fios Cable boxes even though I told them multiple times the boxes and remotes stayed this is just one of countless examples of the careless manner in whicb they conducted my move They are trying to appear professional in their response but I can assure you the real life performance was "ghetto" and disrespectful PS this is sadly evidenced by their insistence in not referring to me as they grammatically proffessionally should - I am not ** *** - .my morher brother and I buried that great man today- Iam a physician and should be addressed or refferred to as such Having broken one of my glass framed medical diplomas im sure they are purposely being disrespectful in their resposne

I recently moved, and the moving company which was used is called 'Keep It Moving', out of Philadelphia This was one of the most upsetting, nerve-wracking, and traumatic experiences of my life, and this is the complete truth I am an honest person, a law-abiding citizen, and a productive member of society This company took eleven hours to move the contents of a small apartment, and were getting paid by the hour The individuals who were moving my things had very poor attitudes all day, shooting dirty looks in my direction, and muttering comments under their breath Towards the end of this extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable ordeal, these men did not want to complete the job They wanted to disregard several remaining items, and actually had the audacity to suggest that I leave these items behind, items that I worked hard for They were rude, even belligerent at times, and shockingly unprofessional Allow me to interject by saying that I am a very kind, compassionate, polite, mannerly, and respectful woman to everyone I interact with I will also say that, in no way did I do or say anything that would justify such behavior The following day I called to complain, and I asked to speak to the person in chargeOnce again, I was offended when, rather than apologize to the paying customer, the "person in charge" yelled at me, defended his men, and insulted me by suggesting that I was the person who was at fault! This felt like a scam Excuse me, but I am the victim here I made a police report The following week, the situation and the abuse towards me only further escalated The company told me they would deliver my belongings the next day, changed their mind, and told me a different day, when a whole weekend had passed Three days in row, they made an appointment to deliver my things, and three days in a row they stood me up I made another visit to the police station, and I'm sure they have all this documented I kept very detailed documentation as well, of dates, times, phone calls, comments, etc I have witnesses to these conversations because I made sure all calls were on speaker phone At this point, I believed that I would never see my things again The police called the company, and they lied to the officer, just as they had repeatedly lied to me When they finally delivered my belongings and I unpacked, I was further emotionally traumatized My things were in such disarray, it was beyond my comprehension that anyone could handle someone's possessions with such utter disrespect No care was taken as to the placement of things, components of units were in different rooms, bags and boxes were torn open, boxes were behind large pieces of furniture, and things were tangled and mixed up Upon further inspection, I discovered that items were broken, destroyed, and stolen I was in complete disbelief I will end my story there by saying that I was going to take them to court, and when speaking to the magistrate, I was told I had an excellent case to win because I had evidence and witnesses I will also add that I would absolutely have no reason whatsoever to make any of this up Why in God's name would I do that? I'm a very busy woman, so why would I take precious time, effort, and energy out of my day to make police reports, and why would I do the same to write this review? I assure you, I would not if it were untrue I am an emotionally and financially stable individual, and a deeply spiritual person who practices spiritual principles I say this because I know for sure they will lie to make themselves look good just like they did to the police And of course they would, to save face I would never invent such a detailed story about something unless it were true, and I sincerely promise that I am telling the truth I would willingly take a lie detector test to prove it
