Review: Failed to provide refund in accordance with refund policy. To date, refund has not yet been received.

We entered into an agreement for his services with a $4000.00 up front fee. Both parties signed a refund policy document that stated that if he was not able to secure a modification or the bank denied our request, we were due a full refund within 30 days. We ended the business relationship due to denial by the bank on May 16, 2013. We were due our refund no later than June 16, 2013. As of July 15, 2013, we have not received our refund from the owner, [redacted].Desired Settlement: We are seeking the full $4000.00 owed to us per the signed refund policy. We granted him an extension until July 10, 2013. On July 10, 2013, he advised us by email that we would not be receiving the refund and he could not tell us when the refund would be received. We are seeking the full refund by money order or cashier's check to ensure funds are available.

Review: I was not happy with the services provided by this company in obtaining a loan modifications or refinance in a timely manner.

This company was referred to me by a friend. I met with Mr. [redacted] on or about October 20, 2012 in regards to obtaining a loan modification with Bank of America. I figured Mr. [redacted] knew what he was doing and what would be the best solution to resolve our financial problems. Our condominium has lost value since I bought it in 2004 and I was seeking some type of relief from our mortgage. I wanted a reduction on the mortgage interest. We paid $1,595.00 up front for services that were inadequate. We had filed the loan modification three times with Bank of America. I became very frustrated with this whole process. On June 10, 2013 I sent a letter to Ms. [redacted] terminating their services and copied the letter to the contact person with Bank of America. I requested that they refund my money within 90 days. Ms. [redacted] continued to be in contact with Bank of America which really got me upset. On July 11, 2013 I contacted Bank of America and requested that they not communicate with Ms. [redacted] or any agent/employee of Keeping My Property. Since I wrote my letter all I received was an e-mail from [redacted] indicating that I was not happy with what they were doing and containing a summary of all the e-mails between his company and myself. Mr. [redacted] did not indicate that he would be sending me a refund check. I feel that I'm entitled to receive a full refund for services that were not completed to my satisfaction. They never would contact me by phone to explain the loan modification process. We were only in contact by e-mail wherein they requested documents which I provided within 24 hours or less. I feel that we should receive a full refund.

Keeping My Property failed to obtain the loan modification and did not provide much customer service. I'm requesting that the send a check payable to me for the $1,595.00 in 30 days or less.
