Keil Plumbing & Heating & A/C, Inc. Reviews (1)
Keil Plumbing was requested to unclog a kitchen drain. They came but never fixed anything and my house is in worse condition because of their service worker. [redacted] arrived 40 minutes after the call from the office. In the next 15 minutes: He turned the water faucet on in order to test the stopped drain; and discovered that water was backing up from the drain within ten seconds. He went to the basement. I informed him that the kitchen is the first drain and the next two bathrooms have no drainage problems. The clog is between the kitchen and the first bathroom. [redacted] noted that the approximated area for the clog is in the finished area of the basement where the plumbing has been enclosed. The drain in the open basement allowed him to see the plumbing of the above two bathrooms, the basement half bath and the laundry before the drain line leaves the house. [redacted] then proceeded upstairs to unplug the clog. It was ten minutes before he said the clog had broken the cable. [redacted] then refitted the sink plumbing taking about 5 minutes. Called the office and presented me with a $300 bill for 1 1/2 hours. The last 15 minutes were arguing about a $300 bill which included a quote to replace the waste line (not including replacing the drywall) $955. There was no consideration to have a bigger or better drain auger I was being charged for the broken cableThe Invoice had a breakdown - Sink Rod Cable, Misc, Gas Surcharge; but no pricesThe bill was reduced to $235 and I was told to pay itPresently, I have standing water in the kitchen sink. The clog was moved to impact a bathroom. This bathroom cannot be used. I have never had such an unsatisfactory experience with a plumbing company. Keil Plumbing had been recommended to me because they worked for the City in drain repair.
