Dear **. [redacted],On December 27th, 2013 **. [redacted] purchased a 2007 Chevrolet pickup truck from Keim Chevrolet. On February 12th, 2014 responding to a complaint that the 4X4 would not stay in high range, we replaced the transfer shifter and assembly. Oh March 12th,...

2014 the customer returned with the same complaint. Our assistant service manager was not able to duplicate the problem. Subsequently the customer took his truck to another repair facility. That repair facility found water and metal shavings in the front differential. They applied to the extended service provider for coverage. Since there was water inside the differential, the extended service company rejected the claim for coverage. The vehicle was not at our facility at that time, we could not help with the extended service complaint. We have no idea how or when the water got Into the front differential creating the problem and causing the claim denial.

Review: Purchased vehicle from them within a month of owning it had a four wheel drive issue took it back they replaced a rod for shift linkage. When I got the truck back still had four wheel drive issues took it back a second time they could not find the problem. Took it to another dealer they found out had water and metal shavings in my front differential for the four wheel drive. Called other dealer and they claim it wasnt same issue and they wont pay for another dealer to fix it. So I had to call general motors and file complaint and have them contact the dealer I purchased it from finally owner called me and said he would "try to help out with the bill" and said maybe take a little off the bill. Basically doesnt want to pay for what his techs couldnt find and doesnt want to admit his techs do not do a through inspection of vehicles upon purchasing or trading in of vehicles.Desired Settlement: The business should pay all expense of the repairs that existed on the front differential before I bought it and pay for what the techs couldnt do the first two times.
