Review: Keith Boucher was recommended by our loan agent when we were looking to purchase a home. After Keith inspected a home on [redacted] for us, we were thoroughly pleased with his professionalism and felt that he was extremely diligent in looking for any home issues. We did not proceed with purchasing this property because of a number of deck and ad-on issues; however, when we purchased the home we are presently living in, we had Keith come out and inspect this residence as well. We were not available to walk through the inspection with Keith but he assured us he would be just as diligent. After looking through the inspection, we made agreement with the sellers that they would repair any issues called out in the home inspection. These were all successfully repaired within 1-2 months of purchasing the property. About 8 months after buying our home on LWW dr, my husband went to install a dog kennel under the front deck which stands about 8-10 ft off the ground. While he was doing this, he found extensive dry rotting in the 2x12's and support beams of the deck. He also found a number of the 2 x 4's were dry rotted. In Keith's disclaimer, he states that he inspects any locations that are accessible by crawling -- this location is clearly visible by walking under the deck. It seems like utter negligence not to point out something that is this blatantly problematic.Desired Settlement: We have contacted Keith through email, phone, and on his Facebook page through private message. We have also asked our Loan agent that works with him on a regular basis to contact him on our behalf. We feel this is extremely unprofessional. We would like Keith to take responsibility for his negligence. He should be responsible for paying for the materials and repairs to the front deck. We have been trying to contact him since October and he has not returned one phone call, email or message.
