I am rejecting this response because: I am unhappy with the service and want my payment returned, because the issues detected by the furnace's own diagnostic system were not repaired, or even adequately addressSince I am apparently not going to get my payment back, I see no need to speak with KeithFirst, I have always had a carbon monoxide detector in this home and it has never detected any COSecond, I have never read any news reports of anyone dying in a home from CO due to a heat exchanger, only from automobile exhaust leaking insideThird, I've always heard about the heat exchanger scamWhen Keith's receptionist took my initial call she remarked that, since our furnace was years old it was probably time for it be replacedThat was before the serviceman was even dispatchedIn my last two homes, the furnaces were running after and years of service respectivelyThe latter only died after a massive flood [redacted] has performed a lot of work for me over the years, and I have always been satisfied with their serviceMy only regret is not calling them firstI would like to thank the Better Bureau Bureau for allowing me to vent my frustration and disappointment
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as long as the business owner is able to confirm that the debt collector working on his behalf discontinues its efforts I mailed a check for the agreed amount on 9/5/but have not seen the cashed check post yet in my bank software This resolution will be satisfactory and complete when the check clears and when the collection agency contacts me and informs me that it is satisfied and will no longer pursue collection
