on 1/28/2015 [redacted] purchased a 2004 Chevy Silverado with 137,517 miles on it from my shop. This truck came with a three month, three thousand mile warranty (which ever came first) in good faith. In New York State any vehicle sold with over 100,000 miles on it does not have to come with...

a warranty. [redacted] called and scheduled an appointment and stated that the truck pulled to the right and that he n'anted an alignment 4one. We scheduled him an appointment for July 1, 2015 at 2:00. [redacted] never showed for his appointment. [redacted] called back at a later date and stated that he took the truck to another shop because their rates were cheaper than my shop. He stated that the truck needed a lot of work done but he wasn't sure what it needed. I told [redacted] to bring the truck down so I could check it over for myself. When the truck was brought in, it had over 141,000 miles on it. This customer is a logger so I am unsure the amount of off road usage this truck has had. After checking the truck over there was slight seepage at the gear box causing a leak and found very slight play in the steering. The right front brake was stuck on which possibly could have caused the pull. I informed the customer that the warranty was expired. At this point the customer decided that he wanted to take the truck somewhere else to get it fixed because the other shop was cheaper. [redacted] has called the shop several times drunk and slurring his words stating that we needed to pay him for work that someone else had done~ [redacted] then called the shop again drunk on 7/28/2015 and told the secretary that he had called the Revdex.com and filed a claim. That was the last we have heard from [redacted]. After receiving the letter in the mail from the Revdex.com, I called the shop that [redacted] had the truck repaired at and requested a copy of the invoice. They then faxed it to me. After looking at the invoice, the actual total of the repairs he paid for were $874.47, not the $973.00 he stated in the complaint. In closure, I feel the warranty had expired on the truck. The truck is 11 years old with 141,000 miles on it and things get rusty and will break from wear. If you have any questions please call me at [redacted] and ask for Keith.
