Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/11/17) */ What a mess this truck was when we towed it in.The owner of vehivle had it totally dissasembled when we got there to tow it in.He told me the wheels were on it when one was completely off and parts missing. If he doesnt know how to fix it he should have never tooken it apart. He made a lot more work out of it the necassary. We located parts needed and found what he had done was totally unsafe.Even my parts supplier had not figured on the heavier front axle for the lock outs.So we sold them at our cost(cheaper than he could buy them).WE made the best of a very bad situation Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/11/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I should not have to pay for the parts when I was told $for the lockouts and had to pay $instead because the owner decided to go and change his mind half a million times Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 9, 2015/11/24) */ The original estimate total was $461.26.I quoted $for the lock outs. This is a Fpickup but the front axle is the heavier option so you must use the large lock outs like on a F350.I sold them at cost $304.58.The difference is $158.58.Why is he saying $600.00?We did the best possible job considering what condition this truck was in when it came here. The owner had everything taken apart and lost some parts.Since the wheel and spindle were off when we towed it,it was very difficult to get in the biulding and onto the hoist. It took three of us to get it in the biulding. Most shops will not take in vehicles that are taken apart before they work on them. And this is exactly the reason why. When the customer picked it up, he paid the bill and left.He never asked any questions or made any statements.Next thing I know,I get a letter from the Revdex.com.You would think he would call and at least discuss it first but I think this is how he handles all his problems.Just go on line and complain with out any discussion first.Thank you,Keith [redacted] -Owner

Good day,When this Ford came in we did a test drive and diagnois. We tested both converters and found the convertor on one side plugged. This can happen if it runs to rich or if it is burning antifreeze from a bad head gasket.I used a hand held laser thermometer to check temperatures.A correctly working converter will be hotter in the rear than the front if working correctly. This one was plugged and hotter in front. The other side was ok at that time.I replaced the bad one with a new design, fifty state approved convertor. Both left and right converters were working correctly at the time of repairs. Why did she not call me right away when there was a problem? Why didnt she have the other shop save the converter so I could inspect it and warranty it?Thank you .Jeff [redacted] ###-###-#### I will try to scan a picture to your email of the converter I installed. Thanks again

I was working that night and received the call from his towing service I repeatedly called the phone number given for the customer but he did not answer. Our protocol is to make sure of the location, where the keys are and if the customer is at the locationBeing I was not able to get
ahold of the member to verify any information, I called off the truck that I dispatched to the vehicle. I was able to get ahold of the member the next day and he told me the needed informationI then dispatched my truck miles to the scene to find that the State Patrol had already had the vehicle towed as it was blocking the roadway. We drove miles to the scene and our regular fee is $per mile which would be $but we only charged $We also did not charge for the miles that the 1st truck drove the night beforeThe customer should have known that he was blocking the roadway and should have stayed with his vehicle. Please feel free to call me with any questions.Thank you,Jeff W Keith's Towing###-###-####
