of my former mechanics, and was in goodmechanical conditionat the time of purchase. also the father of [redacted] came and inspectedtruck too. I wasasking $12,500.00for the truck, and they talked me down to $11,000.00due a few smallissues the truck had, such as a small oil leak, and a loose cable ofthe shifter, whichneeded to be tighted, which is normal for a truck at this age andmiles. They felt ifI lower the price $1500.00 that would satify them, so I did. Loweringthe truck was morethen enough to pay for the repairs. I sent them to Texas Health CreditUnion, I have beenin relationship with them for over 10 years, they even have mypersonal car financed with.Which sould tell someone I would sent them a customer , that was bringa truck that hadproblem, my relationship is more important then that. The father hadto co-sign on the loandue to [redacted] having been 18 years old and had no credit. I offer a 500mile or 30 day whichevercomes first warranty. The warranty cover powertrain only, Motor,Transmission, Rear end, alllubercated parts, which is done for my own personal satifaction, justin case I miss somethingon a truck and it has a major problem, I would not want to ruinsomeone life by ripping themoff. There is no charge to the customer for this, which in the stateof Texas all used carsare sold as is, so this is just something I offer. About 2 weeks afterthe sell of the truckI get a call from [redacted], saying the the truck would go into gear. Iasked him hoe many mileshad been put on the truck and he had told me just a couple hundred. SoPage 1 I told him to take thetruck over to [redacted] Automotive and let him look at it. He asked meto pay for the tow truckand I told him I would pay for it if it was something that fell intothe warranty I offered.Ater the mechanic look at the truck he called me and said that theshaft that hold the gearsin the transmission had snap into 2 pieces. I asked him how that couldhave happened, and informed me that it was from slamming on the gas pedel and running thetruck at high RPMs, basicallyracing the truck, which the truck was sup up from my former mechanic,which that is why hewanted the truck in the first place. Then I asked how many miles whereon the truck and afterhim telling me, I checked it from what it had on it at the time of thesale, and there was1481 more miles then it had, So I was told something different whenthey called, it was outof warranty by 1000 miles, plus I dont cover this when the have beenabused. So I proceeded incalling [redacted] and told him what the machanic had told me. About a hourlater I get a call fromthe father telling me that I am going to fix the truck, and Iproceeded to tell him I would do nosuch thing and explained why. Then he went off on me telling me he hasmade a living sueing peopleand I would be sorry. And I have not heard anything since then. Noteven from Texas Health CreditUnion which I see all the time, they know I run a honest business.Wellthat is the truth and I wouldbe willing to get up and a court stand and tell it under oath.
