Review: Failure to return my Earnest Money in the amount of $1,000 via my check dated August 6, 2013which was posted/cashed by Keller Williams (per my bank statement) on August 27, 2013. Numerous conversations have been held with the Realtor [redacted] and on 11/13/13, Ms. [redacted] indicated via emal that she was "working on getting the money returned" to me since the Seller breached the contract by not closing the deal in the specified number (45) of days contracted. I have sinced telephoned the company and was told that the request was in Accounting. As of December 5, 2013, I have not heard from Keller Williams and have not received my money.Desired Settlement: To have money refunded immediately.
Review: My husband and I contracted with this realtor to purchase a home. The agent we used was great. However, the other peiple associated with Keller Williams were either non-responsive, uncooperative or aggravating. Three examples: 1)They misplaced/lost two (2) good faith checks submitted to them and I finally had to wire (at jmy expense) the money directly to the title company. I also had to stop payment on the checks Keller Williams claims they lost. Keller Williams has never reimbursed me for those monies. 2)We had to reschedule the house inspection because Keller Williams did not inform us when, if ever, the utilities were on. I had to call the utility companies myself only to learn that the water was never cut off from the previous tenant. 3)The office manager kept promising to "get right on" things, but obviously never did. We signed the contract in late October or early November 2013. It was February before we could go to settlement because of Keller Williams. They are a horrible company and I would never recommend them to anyone. Additionally, since this house was a foreclosure, the bank handling the foreclosure wanted to handle the financing and their rep was a nuisance, insisting we would need two loans....which we did not.Desired Settlement: Request refund of monies paid to wire good faith check to title company, and to stop payments on checks issued to Keller Williams. I would also like to know county agency that has jurisdiction over real estate companies in P.G. County so I can complain to them also.
