The consumer has been a very long time friend of my family. She has contacted me over my 10+ year career with all of her Real Estate...

needs. Most recently(October 2014) she began contact w/ me regarding her mom & herself selling her mom's home & purchasing a home together. We looked at homes and I also met with her mom to give a market analysis on her home. At that point, I believe her mom decided that was not the direction she wanted to go. The consumer continued communication with me. She had some issues with acquiring financing at the time & decided to hold off until July 10, which was the date the lender gave her the "green light" to place an offer. I was on vacation at that point & the consumer found a home she wanted to place an offer on. She went to the listing Realtor & lied to her that she didn't have a Realtor. In later conversation, she said she lied, because she didn't want to inconvenience me on vacation. The lender told her that she needed her own representation & since I had been the one helping her all along, it was best to notify me. She contacted me & I wrote the offer while on vacation (Keller Williams offers an electronic document & signature software called DotLoop). She was sent all documentation & asked to e-sign. Contract documents & all supplementing documents (the same ones I have EVERY client sign) went to her. The client has the actual document to e-sign, so I'm not understanding how she's claiming she never "received" the documents. That offer was not accepted as it did not net the seller what they were needing to be able to sell. She claims that I only met her on 2 different occasions & showed her 5 properties total. That is false! I showed her on numerous occasions & a multitude of homes. My partner showed her homes while I was away on vacation, as well. She claims that I never asked what she wanted or offered to pull properties. She asked for my app more than once (and received it each time) & we spent time on the phone that I looked up her criteria & we discussed one by one. She had either looked at or ruled them all out. I contacted her on Aug. 8, asking if there were any more properties she'd like to see, which is when she informed me she wanted to contact a builder. She said she wanted to do it on her own. I told her I could help her with that. From there...the attached texts tell the rest of the story. She contacted my broker, who was not willing to release her from the Buyer Broker Agreement. Please see attached text messages along with the Dotloop activity log to better understand the timeframes of what transpired. Buyer Brokerage agreements are put in place so that Realtor's commit to buyer's & buyer's commit back to the Realtor, so that their not out a lot of time, energy & money working for someone that won't fulfill the commitment. Please feel free to contact our Broker/Owner [redacted] at (XXX)XXX-XXXX or our Team Leader [redacted] at the same number. Both are fully aware of the situation and have attempted to resolve the issue with the consumer. Our goal is ALWAYS having the utmost integrity in every situation.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/09/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Realtor is not what she claims to be. I also have all communication with said realtor. I did not have a realtor until I contacted her to write offer for me. I don't appreciate being called a liar. Also I never received hard copy of documents that I signed via her app. The broker [redacted] has done nothing but push this off on his office manager/team leader which she misses above [redacted], who is also this realtor's best friend. I strongly advise against doing business with this group as they do not tell the whole story and are very quick to attack one's character instead of actually accepting responsibility for what they have not provided. Feel free to contact me for further details. We looked at a total of 6 homes and one home an associate showed in her absence. All of which I found on my own. Shop with someone else and don't waste your time. She is not what she claims to be.

Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 13, 2015/09/28) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Keller Williams wrote one offer which was not accepted and I have not been in contact with anyone regarding homes since this business relationship dissolved August 8th. I found my own home without help or assistance from your office. Your realtor broke our agreement when she discontinued contact with me. I've also had to seek legal representation which I will be seeking to be reimbursed for. This is bad business all around and the worst home buying experience EVER!
