Kelley Service Company Reviews (%countItem)

Bad service. None trustworthy. Not responsible. Will report to Revdex.com after this .

Service man came out home to address clogged sink. He left without fixing it. Two days later what he did to our plumbing caused our kitchen to flood.
On 5/2/19, Danny of Kelley Service Company LLC came out to our home. He was sent by Home Warranty of America and I paid him $75 service fee. Our kitchen pantry sink was flooding with foul smelling water, and the pipe to the right of the sink was draining water from above (it is an open pipe because it is a washing machine clean out). I told him we needed the clog fixed and also wanted to know the source of the water coming down from the washing machine clean out pipe, since we do not have the washing machine hooked up to that pipe). He took apart the pantry sink, tried to find a blockage, and could not. He put the pea trap back together and said "at least you won't have to deal with the smell of any foul water coming from the sink." He stated he did not know whether or not he fixed any clog, and said, "Your two options are to either cap off the sink yourself permanently, or have a plumbing company come out and jackhammer your floor up for about $7,000 so we can see where the clog might be." I told him jackhammering was not an option and needed him to investigate the clog futher to see if it was coming from elsewhere. He said he wasn't sure and said there was nothing more he could do. I then asked him to please not leave until he figured out the source of the water coming from the washing machine clean out pipe, since he clearly stated that capping off the pantry sink "might" cause whatever water that was draining into the clean out pipe to get backed up. He left without finding the source of the water. He said, "Put a cap on the clean out pipe" but I said, "if I do that, where is that water coming from, and where will it go? Will it get backed up somewhere else in our home?" He said, "Yes, it could." So, no solution.

Two days later, on 5/4/19, I walked into the kitchen and realized our entire kitchen was flooded with water. I traced the water back to the pantry, which was also flooded, and sure enough, the water was coming from the washing machine clean out pipe, completely overflowing. I was by myself with our four children and devistated. When my husband finally came home from work, I was able to mop up with mess with every towel we owned in our house, and he figured that the plumber had done something terribly wrong to our sink, which caused the water in the clean out pipe to get backed up (like a chain reaction) and overflow with nowhere to go. My husband put a cup of water in the sink to see if the sink would drain, and it did not, which led him to believe the plumber did something to the pea trap down below.

We were finally able to get a professional, licensed plumber out to our home today on 5/7/19. His first step he took was taking the pea trap apart. What he found was that Danny of Kelley Service Company LLC had stuffed a rag in the pea trap and called that a "fix"! What this did was it clogged the pathway for the washing machine clean out drain to not drain properly, and the water coming from that pipe proceeded to back up and overflow, thus causing our kitchen and pantry to flood, causing floor, cabinet, and wall damage in our kitchen. The licensed plumber today realized the water draining into the washing machine clean out pipe is also connected to catch condensation from our downstairs air conditioning unit. From there, he proceeded to work overtime digging up our entire yard, taking apart our plumbing, and finding the source of the clog which was underground in a pipe.

We are a family of 7 (two adults, 5 children). We were completely taken advantage of by paying our $75 service fee to a company that ended up causing MUCH more work and money being spent. Since this company's poor service resulted in further damage to our home, we are also demanding reimbursement of the licensed plumber who came to our home, charging us $100/hr, at 4 hours of work, costing $400 to repair Danny's error. In total, we are requesting $475 for all costs directly related to what was caused by Kelley Service Company LLC.

Desired Outcome

Kelley Service Company LLC charged us $75 for Danny to basically just stuff a rag into the pea trap pipe, thus causing a flood backup into our washing machine clean out pipe. Home Warranty of America then sent out a second, licensed and bonded plumber to our home, who worked overtime and above and beyond what Home Warranty would cover, at $100/hr overtime for 4 hours, thus costing us an extra $400 to reverse what Danny had done (take apart the pea trap and find where the REAL clog was coming from, and come back a second day to fix all of the pipes associated with the problem). Therefore we are demanding a reimbursement for the service fee of $75, plus an additional $400 for the extra work needed to fix the mistake Kelley Service Company LLC caused. This comes to a total of $475. We feel like this is so minimal to ask, because we also have wall damage we'll need to repair, as well as kitchen cabinetry, and kitchen floors to repair, due to the flood.

I, Ms. Leslie-*** would like to file a complaint against Kelley Service Company LLC at PO *** Dallas, TX 75217.I placed a work order with VP Realty company to send a plumber out to my home address on***. Allen, TX 75002 because both the master & guest bathroom toilets would not stop running water after being flushed. It got to the point where we would have to shut off the water valve, behind the toilet every time we tried to use either bathroom.2 men, from Kelley came out to assess the problem. They replaced the parts in both tanks to fix the running water issue.Unfortunately, the guest bathroom had another problem once the parts were replaced.I was told by BOTH men, SEVERAL times, that the tank was a much larger size than the bowl which wasn't allowing either to empty completely. They both tried adjusting the parts in the tank to get it to work properly.Later they retrieved a long metal plunger-like item to see if there was something creating a blockage.Later, they called me back to the guest bathroom to explain to me that the whole toilet would have to be replaced. They checked the sink & the tub to see if they weren't draining properly but they were & so they knew nothing was blocking the pipe.I was told that they would give this info to VP to let them know that the whole toilet would need to be replaced.I called VP & told them exactly what they said.Later I was told that I needed to call Kelley to schedule the appt. to replace the toilet.Kelley told me that VP had not called them for an approval.I was told that Kelley changed their story on what was wrong with the toilet without re-assessing it.After receiving a voicemail from Kelley asking why we hadn't set up the appt., I reached out to VP who then said it's my responsibility to replace the whole toilet now. When I called Kelley to find out how they changed their diagnosis w/o a re-assessment, I was told that I didn't understand, he (the owner) didn't like my tone & didn't have to talk to me & then hung up the phone.
Product_Or_Service: Toilet bowl/tank set

Desired Outcome

Replacement First, I want Kelley to replace the whole entire toilet for free or original estimate like stated to my realty company & myself. Secondly, I want a written and verbal apology from the owner for not listening to my complaint & hanging up on me. Last, I want the replacement of the new toilet done immediately. Kelley Service is a very unprofessional company that needs to work on their customer service! I have never been treated so rudely for something a company has done wrong.
