Overcharged copays and unresolved billing errors
I fully satisfied the terms of my insurance deductible on August 26. Aetna’s Explanation of Benefits that were sent to me were also sent to MSA billing showing zero copay per visit and an obligation of just a $12 co-insurance on my end for services rendered September through December. Despite the information provided in the EOB, I was charged by and paid a $30 copay to MSA for several months. Additionally I’ve paid a total of $184 for services in January when the 2 visits should have only been $80 per visit. MSA has advised that there is no phone number for their billing department. All matters must be resolved by emailing [email protected]. Despite several emails detailing this error and multiple calls from Aetna on my behalf, MSA has not resolved this overpayment.
