He used excellent materials, let me pick out my own paint color and suggested an excellent choice for the trim which I was not sure of what I wanted He even suggested I do black accents, which was the best choice ever I would recommend Steve to anyone I know

Kellstar Painting wrote me a check for my remaining balance which was due to me, then stopped payment on it.He stole my money.hired Kellstar to put shelves nd to paint a room. The estimate for the job would of been around 600.00. I WROTE HIM A CHECK ON 11/14/13 FOR 300.00, HE PUT UP THE SHELVES WHICH WE AGREED ON FOR 90.00. didn't hear from him in days and on the 5th day used excuse he fell asleep. I decided I was not going to paint room, called him immediately he ageed to mail check for 210.00. the end of the week he decided to charge me for a used can of primer which brought the balance to 180.00 I decided to bring the can of primer to Home Depot and told me it was16.99 and looked like it had been opened and used.I called him on it after receiving the 180.00 ck. he mailed me. he got really upset and told me he was going to cancel the ck and his last words were TAKE ME TO COURT. Desired Settlementall I want is the money he owes me. Which is really mine anyway.Business Response This customer hired me to do a small project at her house.She gave me a deposit of $300 which included agreed upon materials. The paint and primer were purchased at a Ben Moore retailer and were tinted to her wall color. After numerous visits I called her on the agreed upon morning to start the job. She informed me she wouldn't be able to let me in and said she'd call me later that day. She called hours later to inform me that she is moving and would like to cancel the job. I informed her that her requested materials were already purchased and couldn't be returned. She refused to pay for them. I spent $67 on shelving materials and 2 hours installing them. That alone is billed at $150.Paint and other materials came to around $100.I dropped off remaining product and she brought it to a local Home depot and returned at a lower price. When I asked them why they would accept tinted product they didn't sell, they replied "It was cheaper to get rid of her" She then spent her days writing long articles about me on her facebook page and re posting it 8 times. She is a school bus driver and has also drove her school bus to my customers houses to harass them. This lady is crazy and is also taking me to court for what she believes is an owed balance. She has lied to me, wasted my valuable time and made a fool of herself. She will not get a penny from me.
