This company obviously believes that veterans are fools ! Listen, The young man who punched holes in my watchband was a young African American named D [redacted] TD [redacted] was rather tall and was wearing dreadlocks or braids When I tried purchasing my watch band over a month ago D [redacted] was working that evening..The watch band didnt fit my arm so D [redacted] punched wholes in the item to make it fit ! When I returned home that night the indiglo was not working..I returned several days later the first thing the manager told me that a new battery would resolve my issueI returned a few days later and talked to a tall, chunky African American gentlemanHe checked the battery strength and told me it was the mechanism not the batteryWhen I asked for his bosses phone numbervhe said no, and that it was against company policy..This contradicts what I was previously told A young woman who claimed to be the manager gave me Sandra's number here it is [redacted] I'm tired of this companies [redacted] ! By the way I always keep my receiptsThank you..Have a nice day !

The way watch movements are designed does not allow the date function to be accessible from the back of the watch where the battery is changedIt is not possible that the associate damaged the date operation during a battery replacementThe associate that changed the battery asserts that the date function was not functioning when examined during our pre-service inspectionWe are sorry that the customer is unhappy with the resolution presentedWe have offered to repair the item and give a 50% off discountUnder the circumstances, that is as much as we are able to offer.Thank you,Customer ServiceDakota Watch Company

The holes were not put in the watch band by the store locationThe customer returned the watch band with holes in it asking for a replacementHe was offered a discount on a new band but not a refund due to the condition it was returned in.Whether the watch requires a battery replacement or has a
movement issue is unclearHowever, the Indiglo functioning of the watch could not have been damaged during the band replacement.As a one-time courtesy, we will refund the purchase cost of the watch band. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Both myself and my assistant both saw the watch date functioning directly prior to them working on my watchThe associate that worked on my watch told me she would not have accepted the watch if it had not been working? When she stated this, I said to her that you are admitting it was workingShe then said yes it was working, but then made up that it was making a funny click noise? Keep in mind the reason why I noticed my watch battery was dead was because the date was offI changed the date several days ahead literally minutes before it was taken to them and I did not have any issues? She then changed her story to the point where she said it wasn't working 100% correctly, but was still able to change the dateShe said since she got it to work she did not mention it to us at the pre-inspectionAs we went back-and-forth discussing the issue at hand, she then changed her story and said she did say something when the watch was first brought in which was completely untrue? The associate laid out all three watches and did a complete pre inspection and everything was functioningShe even admitted that it was working but now it's just coincidence that it's not? The frustrating part of this whole thing is that the associate changed the story on that it was working and then not working multiple times during our discussionsWhether she dropped it on the floor and screwed the date up or she did do something internally when she took the backing off I don't knowBottom line is the watch was working completely fine (except for the battery) when it was brought in? The fact that she called me and stated that now the date was not working should be further evidence that it broke in her handsI don't understand why it's so difficult to fix a problem created while the watch was in this company's handsKeep in mind this is the same associate who yelled and screamed and became extremely violent because I was wasting her timeShe didn't want to deal with it anymore and told me she had better things to do I should go away? How can someone who isn't a management role act like this? This entire company is extremely unprofessional and I'm sure if the owner, MrC***, ? knew of the entire situation he would not be thrilled
