's sold me defective equipment and will not come fix it. I have had a hard time getting them to repair the defects for the past 2 years.
***'s Installed a system for me in 2015
Called for repair 8/8/2015, would not answer the phone had to text
Called for repair 10/7/2015, would not answer the phone had to text
Called for repair 11/30/2015, would not answer the phone had to text
Called for repair 3/21/2017, would not answer the phone had to text
Now the company text me to just go find another company to do the repairs. ***'s sold me a defective unit and will not stand behind the 10 year parts and 10 year labor warranty, as PRINTED on the receipt.

Desired Outcome

I have to replace several components in the system to make it reliable. The cost of the corrections will cost $2810.00 Reimburse me for any and all out of pocket expenses for the necessary repairs.

I never Received a pin# so I was unable to respond directly through the complaint portal, so please review the following info regarding this complaint.
The history that ***'s has regarding this property goes as follows:
For many year's ***'s has always dealt with Deborah ***, she has always be our point of contact, never with her husband ***, because she is a realtor and we do all her work on her rental properties and her realtor house listing. She called us out to this property in approximately march 28th 2015 because her existing system to the house was not cooling, *** the owner of ***'s told Deborah that this address is out of our service range but for her I would make exception this one time because the company that she normally uses for that side of the metroplex can't come for many days and this is a rent house of hers and the tenants couldn't be without air that long. So *** went out. He found that the compressor in the old original outdoor unit was burned up and needed to be replaced. *** asked her if she wanted to replace the outdoor unit and the air handler in the attic at the same time because her inside air handler was just as old and could die at any time and that way she would get a factory 10 year warranty on all parts and labor and she chose to just replace the outdoor unit, which only carries a factory 5 years on all parts and 1 year on labor. Deborah told *** in her words exactly, that's ok I'm in the middle of a nasty divorce, so we installed just the outdoor condenser and connected it to the old indoor air handler. Then we Got a phone call from Deborah on 4/11/2015 that the system was not cooling again, so *** went back out to the property and noticed that the indoor coil had sprung a big leak and was empty of refrigerant. At that time Deborah said she wish she didn't gambled with just the outdoor unit. So because Deborah was having such bad luck *** sold her an indoor air handler discounted. Retail on that air handler in 2015 was $3200.00 and *** did her a favor and installed it for $2252.00 (By the way I'm telling you all this so you have all the facts.) The warranty on the air handler from the factory is 10 years on all parts and 1 year on labor. The reason the warranty does not have a 10 years on labor is the equipment was purchased a separate times, and by choosing to just put in the outdoor condenser on the first break down, made her have to buy a condenser that will hook to her R22 refrigerant indoor air handler and as I stated above they have a smaller warranty. These are not a ***'s warranty, they are set by the manufacture. So with all that being said ***'s was responsible for only the first year, after that the customer is responsible for the labor but all the parts are under manufactures warranty for 10 years and that warranty can be carried out through any licensed contractor in Texas.

Response *** got this property in the divorce, and is trying to have ***'s to continue to service his rental property which we did up until now.
*** called for service this year while *** was in the hospital with broken back and ***'s was shorthanded and we told him that because of that it would be a few days before we could get a tech out there. *** was not happy about that and hung up, then a day later he called back and said that it is going to cost him$1500.00 dollars to repair the unit. I asked him why whoever he called said that because any parts are under warranty . Then we get a letter from the Revdex.com saying $2810.00 even higher?? Things are not adding up here.

*** says he has a receipt with 10 years parts and labor.
We have no such record. What we have in our computer is an Estimate that shows a labor warranty, and that started out to be a full system and was switched single installations which takes away the manufactures 10 year labor. Even the Estimate price changed from the invoice price because it was just that, and Estimate. If you look at the Estimate price of $2187.00 to the invoice price of $2252.00 you will see that what was agreed on was the invoice, and that's what was paid.
But the invoice that was emailed to Deborah ***, our point of contact says 10 year parts nothing about 10 year labor warranty, and that invoice receipt is what Deborah paid, and then a second invoice that has paid printed across the middle by our computer was also Emailed to Deborah *** which we still have in our email.
*** says that he called us all these times, are dates do not match his dates, and he never received any invoices after the equipment was installed. Even his first date is wrong of 8/8/2015 the equipment was installed in 4/14/1015 and within 7 days was the blower wheel problem that was listed above.

I purchased AC equipment from ***'s. I feel bad that *** was hurt and the house was further than they wanted to drive, but I trusted that whatever they installed, for whatever reason would be reliable and last longer than 2 years. The outside unit went out again, and I called ***'s and they suggested I call another HVAC company to repair the unit. The repair was going to cost 1300 for Freon, Labor and Handling fee on Warranty parts for a system that was less than 2 years old. I regret the unit installed kept breaking down, but I needed them to fix the items they installed that are under warranty. Regardless of who said what, I was not going to pay 1300 to repair a unit that had several issues during the 2 year period. I received quotes from 3 companies on the required repairs to make the system reliable. The repair cost was $2810 to replace the outside unit, complete with Freon and labor. It was my decision not to keep throwing money into an unreliable system. I selected a company that is closer to my house. I appreciate that the ***'s thought they were doing a favor for a friend, but in the end - I have a unit that was less than 2 years old needing a repair that was going to cost 50 percent of what I paid for it. I am not trying to be unfair, I just wanted ***'s to stand behind what they sold me.
