I do not agree to the proposal from Nissan If Nissan had my interest at heart, they were not going to let me go these far before accepting to fix the problemWith that said, I do not think it will be of my best interest for them or any of their affiliates to fix the problemIf they want to cover the total cost of the problem which is dollars then they can mail me a check of dollars since they gave me dollars alreadyIf they want to cover half the cost of dollars, they should mail me a check of dollars since I have dollars alreadyBut as to them fixing the car at this point I do not agree with thatMy safety is a priority and if Nissan cares truly about that, it should not have taking months for them to fix a material fact on a car I purchased from themI have a shop that will do the job to my satisfaction, all I need is Nissan to give me the money needed to fix the car Regards, [redacted]

I disagree with [redacted] on the fact that the information was disclosed prior to my purchase since I would have not purchased a car with rust for that priceIt is true that I met with ***, but he told me he was ready to give a couple of hundreds of dollars and not $How can one give $to repair a $repair and said we had a deal? we have found an independent shop that our company does business with that will REPAIR the rust not REPLACE the tailgateWe think this is a fair solution to the issueThe $can be used for a rental while the USED *** is being REPAIREDplease call *** *** at *** to sREPAIR! thanks

In response to [redacted] complaint, I assumed that [redacted] and I ([redacted]) had come to a gentlemen's agreement since we shook hands and he accepted $200 as a goodwill gesture from our company. The vehicle that [redacted] bought was not in an accident,the dents and broken paint were caused by a bike rack....

This was explained to [redacted] by myself. [redacted] was also told that we sold him the car with the dents and never hid the fact that they were there. Since [redacted] is now unhappy with what HE agreed to, we would like our $200 back and we need to determine how much [redacted] is willing to contribute to the repair so we may move on. We are not interested in just giving away undeserved monies. If this vehicle had been repaired prior to [redacted] purchasing it, he would have incurred the cost of the repair thru a higher selling price! We are trying to be fair but that must be a two-way street.......thank you

I was told by Nissan that it was going to cost me 2000 dollars to replace the part. As such it will be fair enough for Nissan to pay 1000 dollars while I pay 1000 dollars. Nissan had giving me a check of $200 so am waiting for the remaining $800. I don't think it will be a good idea to take this car to Nissan for the repair of that problem since they have failed me on many occasions to resolve the problem. With that said I will take my car to an independent repair shop when Nissan pay their share of the cost.

With that said, I do not think it will be of my best interest for them or any of their affiliates to fix the problem. If they want to cover the total cost of the problem which is 2000 dollars then they can mail me a check of 1800 dollars since they gave me 200 dollars already. If they want to cover half the cost of 1000 dollars, they should mail me a check of 800 dollars since I have 200 dollars already. But as to them fixing the car at this point I do not agree with that. My safety is a priority and if Nissan cares truly about that, it should not have taking 6 months for them to fix a material fact on a car I purchased from them. I have a shop that will do the job to my satisfaction, all I need is Nissan to give me the money needed to fix the car.
