To whom it may concern,I am writing this letter in response to a recent complaint received from the Revdex.comI have owned my own business for over years and have worked in the Salon industry for years, Frankly I am disappointed in this complaint.In regards to Mr***'s complaint, think some
background information needs to be discussedI have over the years of service to Mr*** gone above and beyond to accommodate his requestsRequests such as allowing him to postdate checks, unscheduled hair appointments etc.During the years that we serviced this customer, myself and ?? staff have been the victim of abuse from Mr***I would further add even customers that have been in the shop during his hair appointments have also been victim to his insultsMr*** on numerous occasions has insulted myself and my staff about our weight, our appearances and our personal livesWe continued to service his needs because as a business owner I understand not every customer is the best customer.In regards to what finally made me decide to refuse service to Mr*** began on May 30, Mr*** called the times to book an appointmentSince opening at my Dunmore location I have never had regular service hours on Monday's, Mr*** is aware of thisHe left several voicemails threatening to take his business elsewhereIn one of his messages on Monday the he stated he was booking an appointment at a better, more qualified hair salonThe afternoon of June 12016, Mr*** again began calling my business, He left several rude and disturbing voicemails of which I have audio copies of Myself, and my staff were unable to answer his calls because we were with other customersDuring my lunch hour Mr*** called again and left a voicemail demanding service, insulting me and my staff yet again, at this point I was available to pick up the phone and talk to Mr***I was attempting to book him for an appointment and he was not happy with setting one up, He demanded service right awayHe began to get verbally abusive on the phone with meI tried to accommodate him and finally gave upI politely informed him he was not welcomed in the shop and should he call anymore that would call the police for HarassmentHe had called the shop a total of times in two daysThis is harassment in the eyes of the state of Pennsylvania.What further disturbs me about his complaint is that he references his disabilitiesMy location is in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities actWe have tried handling this professionallyIt's quite disgusting that his family and Mr*** himself would use a disability as an exuse for his rude, and threatening behavior.Furthermore if you spend any time doing a search of my business you will find that I have a five star rating and that my shop is highly recommended in the areaI go above and beyond to make sure all my guests are satisfied when they leave my salon.Thank you for your time in hearing my side of this complaintShould you wish to speak further please feel free to contact me at ###-###-#### or my personal email account(***)Best Regards,Kelly M***Owner/OperatorKelly's Hair Salon
