Review: On February 7th [redacted] was hired to tile our downstairs bathroom floor. He came and did this job with no problem. We liked his work and asked him about tiling our upstairs master bathroom to include walls, shower and floors. He gave us a price of $1000 and suggested if we want to get it completed that we decide soon because he had some upcoming jobs. February 14th was suggested and he said that would work good and he could have it completed no later than February 17th. He was given $500 on February 9th as a down payment. February 14th came and [redacted] never showed up or called, my husband finally caught up with him that evening and he said he would be out Saturday, again Saturday came and passed with now phone call from [redacted]. My husband was finally able to catch up with him on Sunday, his excuse was that he had to let his knees rest and he would start on Monday. He came out on Monday afternoon, late and he tore down the shower and floow then left. He came back maybe two more time after this for about and hour or two each time and didn't make hardly any progress. During this time my bathroom in inoperable and I had just had foot surgery so it was a very big inconvience. My husband finally got fed up with the poor business practices and nothing being done and told him not to come back, this is after he came to the house to get his saw and said he would be back to do some work and never showed up. During this time my husband gave him addition money for sheet rock that was needed for the shower, we never seen the sheet rock or money back from him. The work [redacted] did was tear down the shower, floor, put floor board down and tile a small portion of the wall. We paid [redacted] almost $700 for this including the money for the sheet rock. We ended up having to get another contractor to complete the job which cost $1300 and another week of the bathroom being tore apart.Desired Settlement: We would like [redacted] to give us a refund of $300 in the form of a money order mailed to our home address, we don't want [redacted] on our property. If this can't be resolved through the Revdex.com we will file a claim with small claims court asking for all our money.
