My first experience with [redacted]'s I had taken a 1994 ford explorer into his shop and told him it had a head gasket leak! He put it on a "leak down test" *(cooling system under pressure)He stated it didn't have a head gasket leak because he said he saw no fluid under the vehicle the next morning! So we spent the money we had saved on other repairs to the vehicle! When I came to pick the vehicle up the next day it had a sporadic miss! I asked him why he said"I don't know" Turns out it did have a blown head gasket that was leaking into the cylinder! We now didn't have the money to fix the vehicle and it still just sits still broken to this day! Thanks [redacted]!

After that I had not returned for a couple years on account that I would forgive that one mistake! It cost him quite a bit as I had taken my vehicles to another shop for those years!

My recent second experience was when I took him a 1998 Mazda Millenia because motor lacked power and we could not get it started again.He said he changed the plugs and it started! (We checked the plugs before taking it there and they looked OK)also he found that if he jumped a couple wires on a sensor it ran a little better but still lacked power and had a sporadic miss! He stated the fuel filter could be the problem, was not the cause! It now had just enough power We could now tell the transmission was toast! I told him I would replace it but he conned me into letting him check it out out when I knew better! He is real smooth talker that way making it sound like it could possibly be fixed cheaper than getting a new one! I wound up replacing it cause it was toast like I said! All I got for my $300 was a fuel filter and spark plugs! Diagnostics is also where [redacted] will ream you! There was also a loud whistling sound coming from the rear of the motor, He checked and checked and determined it was the belts, replaced those, did not fix the problem! I took the car to another shop that diagnosed it in a half hour! The catalytic converter was the problem! I had that fixed elsewhere! Like an it I again went to Kelley's to have my air conditioner recharged thinking there is no way he will get me on this one! He recharged it and put the dye in it in case it had a leak! It put out cold air but not cold enough! When he poured cold water on the condenser it got colder! He pointed and said the fans were not turning fast enough and that the fans high speed relay was bad! He also said the compressor was building up too much pressure and it could burn up the pump! I took it to the other shop! They said for one there is no high speed relay on the fan system! [redacted] it is either on or off period! They said the reason the pump was building up too much pressure was because [redacted] overfilled it with freon! The other shop replaced the fill valve evacuated the system and put in the proper amount and now it works fine! I feel I have received very little and been cheated out of most of the money spent there and will never return nor recommend this shop to anyone!
