After a telephone conversation explaining the bill and charges, a check was sent (copy enclosed) for the original of invoice ***Late charges were deleted from the statement as agreed with customer

Blackburn & Davis, Inc., did investigate the problem of a gas leak as stated by ownerAs a result of a power surge, an insulated wire did, in fact, burn a hole through an insulated steel flexible gas line in the attic of owner's house, Contrary to owner's belief, the new gas piping was installed and inspected by LG&E prior to gas being turned onIn addition, her plumber's statement that all his work is guaranteed for a year, regardless of any situation, is like saying after buying a new car and damaging it due to a wreck within a year, the manufacturer should repair it free of charge (regardless of any situation).Blackburn & Davis, Inc., will not be held responsible for a power surge which was the cause of this burn through metal casing of the new gas lineBlackburn & Davis, Inc., has tried to provide a compromise to our invoice but has been unable to resolve this situation with the owner(A $deduction to the bill was offered the customer with only a negative and loud response.)Blackburn & Davis, Inc., will proceed with further litigation of a third party if no satisfactory progress is made.Sincerely,BLACKBU DAVIS, INC[redacted] President

Regarding case number [redacted] , I have read Mr [redacted] 's response dated January 3, 2017, and I am still in disagreement Mr [redacted] stated that the line in question was in the attic of the house, when in fact it was in the cellarDid Mr [redacted] really investigate this issue? Mr [redacted] states that a power surge caused the eventHow does he know? Perhaps it was, but we can’t simply assume soMost of October was very dry weather with no storms on 10/or 10/6, the day the gas leak was discovered And even if it was a surge or lightning strike, should such an event cause a leak if the installation is properly grounded? Was the gas line grounded? Since it is authorized building material, the only logical assumption is that it was somehow improperly installed for such an event to cause a leak We paid to have the gas line installed to the HVAC unitMr [redacted] ’s certified plumbing crew did the workSix months later there was a leak in the gas line installed where it came into contact with an electrical conduitThis kind of leak simply cannot be routine, and should be repaired by the company that installed itWe should not have to pay twice to have the job doneMr [redacted] should stand behind his work.I ask that the Revdex.com use their influence to persuade Mr [redacted] to revoke his bill to us.Respectfully, [redacted]

Regarding case number [redacted], I have read Mr. [redacted]'s response dated January 3, 2017, and I am still in disagreement.   Mr. [redacted] stated that the line in question was in the attic of the house, when in fact it was in the cellar. Did Mr. [redacted] really investigate this issue?  Mr. [redacted] states that a power surge caused the event. How does he know? Perhaps it was, but we can’t simply assume so. Most of October was very dry weather with no storms on 10/5 or 10/6, the day the gas leak was discovered.   And even if it was a surge or lightning strike, should such an event cause a leak if the installation is properly grounded? Was the gas line grounded? Since it is authorized building material, the only logical assumption is that it was somehow improperly installed for such an event to cause a leak.  We paid to have the gas line installed to the HVAC unit. Mr. [redacted]’s certified plumbing crew did the work. Six months later there was a leak in the gas line installed where it came into contact with an electrical conduit. This kind of leak simply cannot be routine, and should be repaired by the company that installed it. We should not have to pay twice to have the job done. Mr. [redacted] should stand behind his work.I ask that the Revdex.com use their influence to persuade Mr. [redacted] to revoke his bill to us.Respectfully,[redacted]
