Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I am sending proof that the only requirement was for me to send payment for two missing motion detectors, payment was sent in May to Keltek, it was sent via mail in form of cashiers check, my bank verified that it was cashed in MayI have text from [redacted] (business owner) stating all I needed to send was payment for was missing monitorsAlso I did not live at the property at the time of installation, I had moved a few month prior and they knew thatThe agreement was to cancel whenever I needed no problem, as the home was listed for sale and sold quickly there afterI don't know why they made up a story about a [redacted] card suddently missing for $125, this is the first time I am hearing of thisI have included pictures of text, proof of payment sent, (to [redacted] ***) and letter of cancellation guarantee from [redacted] ***.Regards, [redacted]

My reply supports my original responseThere was a *** card not included in the inventory removed from Ms ***s homeWe did not charge her for it as I do not believe she kept it intentionally however if she is going to ask for monetary compensation due to the fact that *** not Keltek did not delete her act in a timely fashion then yes I will have to charge her to offset that costWe both knew she would not be staying in home but she was also informed that the contract could and must be transferred into new owner nameShe could have added the cost into the selling price as to ensure no breach of contract should the new owners decide not to signWe let her out of contract anyway without monetary penalty we only charged her for equipment that she purchased Thank you

Regards,

When the time I had opened my original claim and you can look the letter that she wrote indicated in the letter from Altek Alarm that they would send out a check for the $39.99 in late Oct. I never called them or talked to them. The only time I talked to the Sales Rep was the date of Installation indicating to him that I had to cancel and go NO further on the install because, I just found out from the [redacted] Alarm system that I was still in contract with them and if I cancelled with them I would have to pay $800.00 and I didn't want to pay that. Again, I was in the time frame of the cancellation period of their contract that I signed that I had THREE (3) days from the date of installation to cancel and get a FULL refund. There was NO mention about a Trip charge of any nature. THIS IS FALSE. I can send you the contract that both the Sales rep and myself signed showing that again in their contract that I have with-in three (3) days to cancel my contract I get a refund. These people are scam artist.

I would like my $39.99 back. I know its not much but IT'S the POINT of the matter to do smart business ethics.

Please respond back

My reply supports my original response. There was a [redacted] card not included in the inventory removed from Ms [redacted]s home. We did not charge her for it as I do not believe she kept it intentionally however if she is going to ask for monetary compensation due to the fact that [redacted] not Keltek did not delete her act in a timely fashion then yes I will have to charge her to offset that cost. We both knew she would not be staying in home but she was also informed that the contract could and must be transferred into new owner name. She could have added the cost into the selling price as to ensure no breach of contract should the new owners decide not to sign. We let her out of contract anyway without monetary penalty we only charged her for equipment that she purchased Thank you

Mr. [redacted] states he spoke to a controller... no one at Keltek has spoken with him that we are aware of.... he did not excersize his right to cancellation within the legal 3 day period... we are charging him a trip charge/consultation fee of 39.99... we will not be issuing a refund we will be...

billing him the difference of 4.00

thank you
