Our car was towed here while on vacation and we felt confident based upon his review and the tow truck drivers recommendation. We needed a new water pump and requested that he do a radiator flush at the same time and we needed antifreeze for[redacted] weather. He gave us a price, we asked for an explanation of charges and agreed to the price.
We had to wait quite awhile but we're happy to be having it fixed so we could get on our way. We observed several customer interactions with the owner and while we appreciated his straightforward style we were sure we never wanted to be on his bad side.
We were very grateful we had our car fixed and felt positive about things as we set out for home. We were especially grateful that we had no further problems during our trip. ..yeahhh!
When we returned home we had the oil changed, tires rotated & aligned and a winter check up. We were horrified when the technician found the antifreeze mix to be 80% water!
Omg the damage that would have done to the engine in our frigid cold winters would have been astronomical!! We couldn't belive it!
We put a call into KC and we're pretty shocked at the conversation. Basically he told us he did what we wanted and his antifreeze was fine and we were "pains in his [redacted]" while we were there; and there was nothing wrong on his part, nor would he help us further.
We couldn't believe this was how he handled us and how our car had been put in such jeopardy! We can only come away with the conclusion that he saw us coming for sure and did what he wanted knowing full well we couldn't do much about if back home in[redacted].
Not a happy experience and not to be trusted! DON'T GO THERE!
