I received the refund.

Mr. [redacted] is coming into the dealership today, October 26, to sign the cancellation request to cancel the JMA product that was purchased. Once the cancellation request is signed the cancellation will take approximately 1 week to be sent to the bank for his loan account to be credited.

I spoke with Mr. S[redacted] and explained that we sent his bank the amount of $16,416 and they sent a letter stating that the...

balance was $1200 higher. We have each customer sign a form stating that they are responsible for any difference. Mr. S[redacted] was very understanding therefore, I also explained that although I can't refund the $600 he paid that I would forgive the balance of $600 left. He agreed with the offer.

We worked out an agreement to take the vehicle back in and get the customer into another vehicle.  The customer was satisfied.

Not one of my salesman would ever try to hide scratches on a used car. We give the customer as much time as they want to look over the vehicle. I can understand her being upset about not looking over it completely. I spoke with her when she...

came in and I did try to have the scratches buffed out. The second key was never promised and not all used cars come with a second key.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2016/06/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
A person can not say what another salesman would or wouldn't do. He was not involved in the conversation that I had with my car salesman. I am the customer and I know how things were presented to me and I know how he made me feel. I also do not believe there was any attempt to buff out the scratches, I was just told there was nothing they could do about it.
My biggest issue, however, was the fact that I purchased a car that did not have a properly functioning key. I never said I was promised a 2nd key, I was well aware that there was only one, but I expected it to work. Within a week after my purchase, I was not able to perform a basic function which is unlock my door so that I could drive my car. That is not acceptable and I would like to see this dealership show good faith and reimburse me for the $279 that I had to spend on a key to drive a vehicle that they sold me a week prior.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2016/06/23) */
We will agree to reimburse customer $279 for the key. Please email receipt to [redacted]

Mr. H[redacted] purchased this Jeep Wrangler in Dec,2015. It was advertised as a pre-owned Jeep Wrangler with Hard top. The boxes the other dealer mentions would be on a new Jeep. Mr. H[redacted] contacted us over 3 months after the purchase claiming to...

be missing parts for the soft top. We made no claims of a soft top in our vehicle description and can make no guarantee that all OEM equipment is original as we are not a Jeep dealer. As is stands we feel that we delivered all equipment as agreed. Anything missing happened post sale or was not included. ATTAHED: original vehicle description
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/04/11) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have several documents provided by the dealer proving that they were selling me a Jeep with dual tops not just a hard top Jeep. First the salesman emailed me and later gave me the original window sticker for the vehicle. I will attach an image of this original window sticker. I have the dealer's window sticker and will attach an image of also. The dealer's window sticker clearly states Sunrider Soft Top. The Jeep was clearly sold to me as a Jeep with dual tops. I will also attach photograph from the Ken Ganley Nissan website showing the rear compartment of the Jeep. It clearly shows the main soft top and now boxes. On the floor of the rear compartment is floor mats and a cover to store the hard top panels. There are no boxes containing the vinyl windows or the second box containing door surround parts. The statement by the dealer that it was advertised as a Jeep Wrangler with a Hard top is an obvious lie. For the dealer to state they made no claim of a soft top in their vehicle description is an obvious lie as well. The parts were obviously missing in the photographs they posted prior to the sale of the Jeep. I include a photograph of a main top and the missing boxes found on this web page.
[redacted]
It show how large the two boxes are and they are obviously not in the Jeep that Ken Ganley Nissan sold me.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 19, 2016/07/05) */
We never offered a soft top. The vehicle was advertised as a hard top.
