Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:that is not true that's not what happen I never expressed that I couldn't pay for it I did say I feel like I wasted all that money $for nothing because the check engine light did come right back on I didn't even make it down the street to my apartment without it turning right back on! Not just that he says I kept saying I couldn't"afford" it...no that's not true! I was so mad because I spent so much and nothing was fixed!he says he test drove it and that it was running fine that's not true I went right back over there with the same problemmin laterI even took it to the *** and they even said to me damn it sounds like you went to Goodyear like I know im not the only one complaining about this shady shop they did not do what they said and they that is such a lie that I kept saying I couldn't afford it ! He was very rude when I called him and told him my car wouldn't even move he didn't apologize saying they couldn't help and they never "shook" my husband's hand saying that he told me your mans not there to check it for u cause I can't help you anymore and I didn't even want to take it back to that shop which is exactly why I didn't!

On August 4, Miss*** *** and Mr*** *** came into our repair facility stating that they went into *** for them to do a free code reading on their vehicle since it was running poorlyI then told them that we will need to perform our own diagnostic which they
agreed to since *** only reads the codes and does not perform complete diagnostic workSo we pulled the vehicle in and proceeded with the diagnosticOur technician hooked up our diagnostic equipment to the vehicle and found only stored transmission codes in the transmission module,no active hard codes for the issues the vehicle was having were foundstored codes are codes that the data bank of the vehicle's own computer store, the transmission module is separate from the engines computer which they both were also made aware of. we told them in this case the vehicle had a issue at one time with the transmission and should be further inspectedSo we proceeded with the diagnostic and found ignition coil #and #shorted and not sending spark to the spark plugs, also we found the spark plugs wornAt that time the other ignition coils were operationalWe then came into the office to inform the customers of our findings and started to build an estimate to present to them, an estimate was made, and given to themWith our over years of experience in this business and knowing that having to remove the intake manifold to gain access to the back cylinders where the other coils and plugs are located we also recommended the replacement all the coils because they too might be on heir way outThey estimate was given and only the bad ignition coils (and 5) and spark plugs were approvedMiss *** was telling me that funds were tight and she didn't know if she could even afford the minimal repairsShe discussed it with Mr*** and they both agreed to just do the minimumWe proceeded with replacement of the #and #coils and spark plugs which you will find on the 1st invoice #005124.When the intake manifold was removed to gain access to the back spark plugs we discovered the valve cover had a crack and was seeping oil so we notified them of this new finding and an additional estimate was given for that repair it was discussed again and it also was approvedThe repairs were completed and I personally test drove the vehicle and it did not drive rough and still no service engine light was onThe vehicle was taken and a call a few days later and a call was received from Miss*** that the vehicle was running rough and that we did not fix her issue since now has a similar issue and the service engine light is onShe was asked to bring it right back so we could identify the problem and when she did return a couple days later we found that there were codes present now and one was for the crankshaft sensor and now it also had a code for #ignition coil failureWhich is why we always recommend all the coils when one or multiple coils start to go out, she was very upset and told me that she still was short on finances and felt that we were responsible.so as a good faith we took it upon ourselves to help her with this issuewhich is on repair order #***We did not hear from Miss *** again until 09/07/in which she called again stating that the vehicle started to run rough once again and that the service engine light was back on so she was asked once again to return for another diagnostic as a courtesy, we found now the vehicle had a code for a shorted # ignition coil but also a #coil which we had replaced @ no charge on the repair order listed above and also now it also had a camshaft position sensor failure code as wellOnce again hearing that she had no money to continue fixing her vehicle we once again stepped up and agreed to replace the #coil and warranty the #coil as good faith which you will find on repair order# ***but she would need to supply the camshaft position sensor herself and she agreedWhen Mr*** returned with the camshaft sensor we replaced it and he was notified by Mr*** the shop owner that this would be the last time that we were going to be held responsible for the vehicle that we have already exhausted over an additional $of our own, he agreed and shook his hand and left the premisesShe called a few weeks later stating the vehicle was at her daycare and that we needed to go pick it up and fix it once again Mr*** the shop owner informed her that we had already gone over and beyond to help her with her vehicle and was sorry but we could not help this timeAs for the belts she was never charged for replacing them as can be seen on the repair orders listed but only offered to have them replaced at a discounted price which she never returned forAll invoices have been attached for your viewing.Regard's,*** ***Service Manager Ken's Tire and Auto ***.***
