Dear Revdex.com, Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention This customer purchased a year old *** *** with almost 100,miles on itHe ordered our 'Standard' inspection service which covers the basic operational and cosmetic condition of a vehicle for
$199. (It is not our premium report, those are $349) In addition to the report, our summary comments read: "This car was manufactured in September of making it a VERY example off the assembly lineIts condition is conducive with the mileageThe paint has a number of flaws, like chips scratches and scuffs etcThe wheel rims are damagedThe interior shows its age with wear and the drivers seat has been poorly repairedIt ran a drove okThere was an accident in where the LEFT REAR WAS IMPACTED BY ANOTHER VEHICLEWe checked this area and there is no obvious signs of damage, so we feel it was either minor and/or repaired correctlyCondition: #3-." The car was test driven for over miles and the inspector did not notice smoke or and oil leakA gasket or oil seal can fail at any time, without warning, This is especially true of a vehicle of this age and mileageThe sellers listing on eBay states "Mileage is approximate since this car is still in use" We can only report on what we see at the time of the inspection, not predict what may occur after we leave or within the next miles or 5,miles. When purchasing a vehicle of this age and mileage, you do so with the expectation to have to put money into then with regularity to keep to then operationalThings will fail from age and wearIt is naturally regrettable that this customer is unhappy, but in this case we did not feel a refund was warranted.
