Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Statements made to myself from the sales staff were flat out lies with no regards to the Kendall company, as soon as he delivered me to the finance officer he was goneKendall new very well I would not have time to return the vehicle in days because I came from Fairbanks close to miles awayWhen I am up to brief the command at JBER I will state my case and suggest at a minimum the soldiers and airmen are warned about Kendall ethical standards on sales to service members Sincerely, [redacted]

My name Tim T [redacted] and I'm the General Manager for Kendall Ford AnchorageThank you for letting us know your concernsBy reviewing the attachment you can see the DMV work was processed and sent by registered mail to FairbanksIt was returned on 10/24/because the time allotted for pick up by USPS expiredThe plates have not returned to the dealership yet but should be shortlyPlease let us know how you would like us to proceed when we have them back in our possession Kendall provides a free warranty on our used vehicles including a day money back guaranteeThe reason we do this is so our customers can get familiar with the used vehicles and decide if it was what they truly want and it fits their needsIf it doesn't they can return in with no penalty To my knowledge Kendall is the only dealership that will put that in writing on a used vehicle, especially one that's years oldThe reason we offer this is to make sure our customers like the decision I've reviewed all the texts and emails that were sent and none suggest that everything will work and we don't make that claim and the paper work signed says it was sold as isWe also have no knowledge things didn't work when it left the lot as our vehicles do go through an inspection The attached email from the customer states he realizes a year old vehicle is being purchased and expects repair because of itI agree with this expectation, all vehicles will need repair at some pointEspecially older onesNone the less we don't want our customers to be upsetThat makes me feel badI want all our customers to be happyPerhaps doing the requested repairs and parts at a discount would be a solution ? I'd like an amiable solution too Thank you,Tim T***

Kendall new very well I would not have time to return the vehicle in 3 days because I came from Fairbanks close to 400 miles away. When I am up to brief the command at JBER I will state my case and suggest at a minimum the soldiers and airmen are warned about Kendall ethical standards on sales to service members.

I spoke with Mr T[redacted] and he let me bring the vehicle back in for another review and this time I was told it is a different issue now -lower ball joints are broken and to replace them it would cost me $1431. This was not an issue prior. Possibly shocks didn't even need to be replaced in first place ? That cost me $1000.  At this time I'll be taking it elsewhere . You may close the complaint .

USPS expired. The plates have not returned to the dealership yet but should be shortly. Please let us know how you would like us to proceed when we have them back in our possession.  Kendall provides a free warranty on our used vehicles including a 3 day money back guarantee. The reason we do this is so our customers can get familiar with the used vehicles and decide if it was what they truly want and it fits their needs. If it doesn't they can return in with no penalty.  To my knowledge Kendall is the only dealership that will put that in writing on a used vehicle, especially one that's 14 years old. The reason we offer this is to make sure our customers like the decision.  I've reviewed all the texts and emails that were sent  and none suggest that everything will work and we don't make that claim and the paper work signed says it was sold as is. We also have no knowledge things didn't work when it left the lot as our vehicles do go through an inspection.  The attached email from the customer states he realizes a 14 year old vehicle is being purchased and expects repair because of it. I agree with this expectation, all vehicles will need repair at some point. Especially older ones. None the less we don't want our customers to be upset. That makes me feel bad.
