Review: Registered my child for a summer program with KPLC, Introduction to AP Physics. My daughter attended the first day of course and told me that the teacher was inaudible and it was impossible for her to make out anything that he was saying. I called the center to let them know and they said they would ask the teacher to speak up. My child went the next day, but it was the same story. She came back completely frustrated. I spoke to the Director and said that my child was not comfortable attending the class. The Director told me that they would not refund the tuition of $1,485. I said that was fine but that they should allow her to attend a similar course. The Director said that they did not have a similar class this summer. I asked her very politely to extend the credit over the school year or for next summer but she has refused saying that it is against their policy. If they would have transferred the child to a similar course (if it existed) over the summer I am unable to understand why they cannot extend that credit given that their teacher was at fault.Desired Settlement: Initially I had just wanted KPLC to give my child credit for the AP Physics Course that she did not attend this summer and just give her the option of attending a similar course over the school year or next year. However, the Center has been unresponsive and refuses to give me credit. With the Center so inflexible and completely insensitive to student and parent concerns, I would now like a refund of the tuition. I do not want my child going back to KPLC for instruction
