My experience with Kennedy Construction Group could not have been worse It was a massive wake up call to realize that some people have no problem taking your hard earned money from you, if you let them I called them and another company to my home to investigate a small water stain(leak) in my kitchen Kennedy Construction Group result - NEVER went into my attic to look - NEVER went onto my roof to look - Presented me with a piece of paper with a Google image of my roof - Lied to me about insurance only being reduce for higher grade product - Quoted me $3,to fix or $18,to replace roof [redacted] result - Went up onto my roof and inspected - Went up into my attic and inspected - Presented me with photo images of both - Quoted me $to fix (said the leak was tiny) - Quated me 12,to replace but said it was not necessary, roof still had to years left on it Conclusion - Decison to NEVER EVER use Kennedy Constructon Group and share my experience with my neighbors (and all of Tampa for that matter) - Decsion to ALWAYS use [redacted] or anyone but KCG - Remember to always get multiple quotes - I could not be more pissed about the lack of professionalism and shady practice of Kennedy Construction Group - I experienced the worst in people and the best in people this week I almost lost $18,todayBuyer always beware
they are the worst codo not use them..buyer beware!! singed contract 8/29/told they would start wks..I always had to call 4wks came & went & always got answer "- "i'll put in your folder"total of 5-calls..never got call back...now 8wks later called & got passed ** office mgrrude, nasty & started yelling @ me and I said I'm just trying to get a definite date so I could put in for a day off work to be here due to having dogsshe said they sent letters out to everyone explaining the delaysnever ever rec'd any letterjust another liefinally got call they were going to start - ITS NOW INTO EARLY NOVEMBER, next dayso much for a weeks notice which I had requested...so put in for next day off of work ..sat and got call @ 10am saying they couldn't make itimagine that...missed a 1/ day of pay, they could care lessdid tear off & came back with particle board, contract included pcs of plywood..ran out & said no way, its to be plywood, came back with 1pc of plywood & said they were using the particle bd to connecting flat roof to other part of roofso they put the flat roof on & leftsame night went to turn on outside lights - nothing..checked backroom lights..nothing - came out next day & pulled up roof and said oops, did cut wire during tear off, even though the said they hadn't...told daughter to make sure they fixed with wirenuts & black electrical tape & they told her they didit wasn't until we demanded a letterhead from them stating that they repaired it and guarantee the repairguess who showed uproofers with licensed electrician - opened up roof again..took picsno wire nuts - used duct tape to re-connect wires!! Electrician asked who is paying - we said Kennedy Const we had a light rain a day later & I got on ladder to look @ roof...puddles, gullys & brought to their attention since they said they would angle from my roof over the flat roof so the water would run offsaid it was the rafters & get an engineer, blah, blah more $$$...totally UPSET...I said finishthey did, and wanted to bring me release of lien & wanted final payment...said not until it was inspectedguess what ..it got RED TAGGED by inspector...more time went by about finishing and correcting the problem inspector said...no call backswe are now into December for a 3-day job!! OVER A MONTH!! GOD FORBID I HAVE A LEAKTO GET THEM BACK OUT TO CORRECTALMOST WENT TO CHANNEL ABOUT THIS COMPANYUNREAL

a division of KCG Inc., KCG heating & cooling Inc., salesman, Marcus, came out to my home with a convincing sales pitch to sell me a HVAC system and while I did not like his approach, not bringing his material inside my home to show me what he had to sell, we finally agreed that he would and should write down on the invoice what he was offering me and we did decide on a price that we both was comfortable with. Later I received a call to schedule a date and time for installation when I meet the installers. I was very impressed that they were all young and stated they were licensed and certified. Made me feel they were well capable of doing the job as a professional should. They arrived on the job late but they did work diligently until it was finished to a point where they could send another tech. person out . Dominic was a very pleasant young man and he addressed all my concerns and assured me he would get every thing completed to my satisfaction. before inspection. Everything was explained to me about the units and overall I am completely satisfied with this company. While I can honestly give the company a positive review they need to make some adjustments in sales pitches.

Signed contract in June 2015 - flat roof not installed until September 2015. Roof did not pass city inspection for multiple reasons (roof not being fully attached to the house and ponding water immediately) and continued to leak requiring inside repairs which were also done poorly. Roof redone and passed inspection and has now leaked twice since September. Office manager was rude and blatantly dishonest about reasons for delays. Now awaiting further repair. We have had very few problems with any other contractor we have used in Florida but this company has more than made up for that.
