APC posted a front desk position on I[redacted] for $17 hr. That is how I discovered them in the first place. (See I[redacted] Job Posting attachment) I applied and received a call about the position the following day. APC lied about not posting on I[redacted] and I have witnesses to back that up. They claimed I do have a UID number nor license. I had my UID number for about 4 weeks already and I received my physical security guard license from New York State 3 weeks ago. (See UID Number attachment) Next APC claims they referred me to jobs, but they only gave me a list and basically said I was on my own. if you look at the email attachment, instruction 1 states: "[redacted]" They claiming they referred me, but the email they sent clearly states do not say they referred you. I called some of these places they listed and they are no associated with APC. I also to human resources of some these security companies and they said you cannot just show up for a job interview. You have to apply online. I applied online to a lot of these places and no call back for an interview yet. Thus, APC stated when I first met with them that I would get a job for $17 hr like advertised now that all the classes is finished and I paid $566, I still do not have a job like they originally said. APC is a meaning of a scam. They advertised a false job, overcharged for security guard classes, and did not refereed me anywhere. I could have gotten that same list of security companies from a quick [redacted] search. I want a refund.
