*** ***t did get towed on the evening of April 301TH She was indeed on private property for an apartment houseThere are signs stating that you will get towed if you park there*** ***t did say to me that she did see the signs even though she stated in her complaint that
she did notThe bar that she mentions was at onetime, ***, but closed and reopened as a *** ***They have a lot behind themThe area that *** *** parked in is actually a double lot, a house and a driveway away from the *** ***The apartment house only has enough spaces for its tenants, therefore then need for parking enforcement. We actually had a complaint a year ago that involved this same spot and you ruled in our favor because of the sign ageThe property manager calls us when she needs usWe do not patrol this lot because the tenants they have do not have stickers or permitsWe rely on a call from *** and then we respond*** *** insinuated that we stalk the lot which is not true*** *** came in Monday morning and I explained the pricing to her but she was not happy with itOur standard Private Lot tow is $Now we have owned Kennedy's foryears and the previous owner had it at $fpr at least years before we bought the companyOur sign maker made a mistake years ago and we raised it $This may sound high, but we have to carry expensive liability insurance to protect us with these towsMost private lot tows are done at night, in the dark and the boys encounter many irate people that are madThey've been assaulted and robbedIt's a dangerous job and I worry every night they are out towingPolice will back us up every time all they ask is that there is a sign stating that you will get towed if you park there and it has our phone number on the signStorage is by day and is $45.00/day(calendar day, doesn't matter how many hours per day) This is standard throughout the industryShe didn't call till Sunday morn in~ so it would already be 160.00+ days storageSince we were closed for business, you can certainly pick up your car anytime but if we aren't open there is a $charge for someone to come down, take care of the bill and release the carShe asked what the price would be on Monday and my husband explained that it would be the same price because now the 3'd day of storage ($45.00) would be added but since we were open there isn't a charge for the release of the carI hope that makes senseWe have to pay someone to come down in the middle of the night or on a Sunday, that is why there is a chargeIt does get expensive when you are towed and you don't pick up your car right awayMost people come out of wherever they are in the next few hours and then come and get their car*** *** did ask who called and I told her that it was the property manager,***Cliff looked at the phone log and told her exactly what time the call came inI wasn't comfortable giving out ***'s private cell number to a customer and *** ***seemed satisfied when Cliff showed her his phone log with the call coming in on SaturdayIn conclusion, if you want me to release the woman's cell phone number to *** ***t I willShe did not pay for "extra "days, she didn't look for the call until Sunday and the price did not change for herThat was her prerogative to not come in till Monday morningShe did ask for a discount because she said she worked for the City of Troy, but she did not show us any IDThat would not get her a discount anyway because that opens up another whole can of wormsEveryone pays the same posted prices.Thank you for the opportunity to explain our side.Sincerely,Toni C***,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.1] first off there are quite a few lies in here. For one I was not shown any call log from anyone's phone. The one guy opened his phone up and read a supposed call thst came in. I was never shown anything. And nor could I get any information on this person who made the call to verify it did indeed come in and that the lot was not being "staked out"as I was told. Bottom line- when it came time to show the proof, kennedys could not provide any. I was treated very rudely and like I was crazy for questioning a $328 tow bill. I have since called 2 other local tow shops and asked what there pricing would have Bren under the exact circumstances and no one even came close to $328Secondly- I am given no opportunity to avoid those fees and that should not be legal. The minute they picked up my car I already incur a fee for one day storage and after hours release. Or wait another day for it to not be after hours release, but then I now incur another full day storage so there is no way around those fees. They're automatic. third- yes I did in fact ask if there was a discount for city employees and I was immediately and very rudely told "no, no one gets a discount" so no I did not show id because I was never asked. So I'm not sure why it's mentioned in the response that I never showed id?? If I was asked I could very easily provided that.
