We would like to respond to this compalintAt this time we would like to answer Mrand Mrs***'s complaintsWe are very dissapointed and suprised that Mr and Mrs *** would make these kind of accusations since we have gone over and beyond to help this family
We would like to first address the down payment situationNo one who finances anything such as a home does down payment financing and our company tries not to do it as well but out of courtesy we did to try to help Mrand Mrs*** by allowing a payment plan on their down paymentWhen Mrs*** came in to make her payment on March 25, we had already sent her many statements that her down payment was past due and it had to be paidOn March 25, according to our figures their balance on the down payment of $was days lateWe explained to her at that time that the down payment had to be met in full in order to avoid evictionShe at the time seemed to understand and was clear on the fact that it had to be paidMrs *** said that she would let her husband know and she would get back with us on her monthly payment that was past due on March 17, in the past due balance in the amount of $(Mrand Mrs ***'s payment is $total, she had paid $towards that payment on March 25, 2015) As far as repairs we let all of our clients know that the property is as is "with ABSOULUTELY no warranty"It is not a brand new house, it is a remodeled homeWe ask them to let us know with in the first two weeks of any issues and we address them immediatlyAfter the first two weeks it is up to the tenant to maintain their home.We never recieved a complaint on the brand new water heater that is in the homeWe built a brand new out building to protect our investment and to make sure it is in a proper space outside of the homeWhen we checked the home all the outlets were in working condition, as far as leaking windows we did find one that had a minor leak and after she reported it months later out of courtsey to them we went to fix itAll it needed was minor caulking that the contractor must have missed but the issue was addressed as soon as possibleThere is absolutly no way the floor can be "unglueing" they are floating floors and unless they have neglected to care for the flooring and spilled water there should be no reason for this accustation other than their own neglectWe can not figure why walls would be "molding" in the bathroom either, we installed vents it their and it is up to them to keep their home clean.The house was properly leveled, we had a professional come in and level itWe have had some unusal rains here in south Texas that we have never had before we can not prevent the ground from shifting and at this time we think that might have been the issue hereA small shift by mother nature is unpreventable and we dont feel like it was out of our neglect of the homeShe stated that she called the Revdex.com here in Alice Texas and that they yelled at her to call the Sherriff's DeptTo our understanding no crime has been commited here we dont understand why they would tell her to call them Inclosing we are sending you copies of Mrand Mrs***'s contract so that you may see they initialed the statement "Purchased as is where is as is with no warranty/Absolutely no refunds" We are also sending pictures of the home right before they took overWe have a policy of taking pictures before each client moves into the home just incase there are any questions at a further time We would like to thank you for your time and allowing us to respond to this complaintIf you have any questions please feel free to email or call our officeOur office staff has been notified and a meeting has been held on this complaintWe try to serve all our clients fairly and with respect *** *** *** *** *** *** *** Texas phone####-###-#### fax#3###-###-#### ***@sbcglobal.net
