Review: Pull handle broke on first flight with this luggage piece. Manufacturer blames airline and refuses to even inspect luggage.
Pull handle broke on first flight with this luggage piece. It is stuck in the retracted position, which means the handle is not usable. Manufacturer blames airline and refuses to even inspect luggage. My contention is that the airline did not damage the luggage and that it was defective. Just because it happened during a flight does not mean that it's the airlines fault. Also, baggage handlers never touch luggage pull handles. They use the fixed handles for lifting and moving. Full response from manufacturer is below. They have ignored all followup emails and phone calls from me.

From what your email says, it sounds like it was received back from the airline that way and that is not covered by the warranty. Any damage done by common carrier or airline is not covered.
