On Jan 9, 2019 I went to you store with the assurance that you were one of the best stores around. (HAHA) I brought in an old anniversary bracelet that had broken at the clasp, the broken end had been sautered together (not a good idea) whereas it broke again. I wanted the clasp fixed properly. The sales person explained to me that he would talk to the repairman about fixing the bracelet (53 yrs old rose cut, rose gold and yellow gold) he did but was told to me at that time that because of the sautered end, it would be expensive to fix. I agreed to get the bracelet fixed regardless of cost, repair was arranged. Said would be ready by 1/17/2019. On January 16, 2019 (so late to tell me) indicatary that they would not fix the bracelet because of the sautered part (which they already saw, and agreed to repair tho I would lose a few inches of my bracelet because of the sautered which in turn would be expensive to fix which the repairman and I had already agreed to (it's been in the family a long time) Now this (BS) when its time to pick it up. Ok Fine - Next day I wait for a call saying the rest of my order was ready (purchased cubic zirconia stud earrings $90 on pick up purchased backs = $111.00 Had a 10 karat gold necklace repaired $30.00 the repair for bracelet was $53.00 total;$183.29 paid in full 1/9/2019. Next couple of days 0 - So I called them to see where my things were ready) "he" said they should be. I went to pick up everything, and at that time the employee (sales clerk?) gave me the items but did not give me the money owed me, I said where is the money you owe me? she said "I am sorry, but we do not have your money right now. "WHAT" Who does that". #1 you lied to me about fixing my bracelet-when you clearly said you spoke with repair person about sater loss of gold, etc and said they would fix it for a fee, which was $50.00. #2 Then you wait until pickup (?) to call saying you would not fix my bracelet. After speaking with you the other day, I fell ill and have not been able to get there, however I believe I can have my daughter pick it up or I will pick it up as soon as possible.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
In response to your letter dated "2-20-2019 This complaint is not about whether I got my money back which was ($32.00- Not $50,) (there they go lying again) about promises I feel were made in vain. Its about a jeweler looking at the bracelet and stating he could and would fix my bracelet and it would cost extra because it had been previously sautered with "silver" which caused the repair to be $150.00 instead of $32.00 which I paid in advance ($50.00) they kept it for a week and did not indicate a problem. This is a breach of promise.
The fact that they could have told me sooner that the were not able to fix bracelet. (Reniged on deal) I had to go back later (1 week later) to pick up my money. I am a senior citizen and everytime & need transportation its $20. thank you for your handling this matter with concern and speed.
