I am working on a solution to this problemCarrier tech support is also involvedWhen the job was sold Mr*** insisted on installing the same size furnace as was removed and that is what was doneThe furnace being oversized is not causing this problemI have assured Mr*** that I will
resolve this issue one way or anotherThis job was also inspected at the time of installation by the *** *** building inspections department and was approved as a proper installation, the inspector even commented that it was a very nice jobMany hours of research have been put into this issue by both Carrier and myselfEvery party I have communicated with on this issue insist that it is a problem with the flue but Mr *** insists that it is notHe did however say that he would be willing to install a flue liner if I would give him a 100% guarantee that it would cure the issueI cannot give such a guarantee because I do not engineer these solutions or manufacture the productsThe device that I added according to Carrier cures this issue in about 99% of the casesIt did improve the situation in this instance but did not cure itI am about to contact Mr *** and offer him two different proposals to cure the problem, one of which will be at no cost to himI can assure you just as I have assured him that this issue will be resolved to his satisfaction but he is a very hard man to deal with as he brings to many outsiders that are not even involved in this matter into the equation and they are Monday morning quarterbacking the issue

[redacted], the new office manager, and one of the customer service reps that was trying so hard to help me the past 5 months, called me to explain the company's new ownership and her subsequent promotion. [redacted] was very apologetic and made sure she had the correct address and would be mailing the refund that day. I believe her and am satisfied with the result. I'm pleased to know that Hoss Disposal now has responsible management, not to mention courteous and sincere.
