Unfortunately sometimes our sales force does make the occasional mistake and will under sell job.We do apologize for that but sometimes we just can't do the job if that happens. Medallion does have the legal right to cancel out any job that we sell within 30 days of the contract date.Thank you

No cancellation was received to legally terminate the contract.Medallion is open Mon-Fri 7 to 5, Sat we answer phones only. Again Medallion turned this over to there attorney,so that's who the customer needs to contact at this time. Thank you.

Not sure where the confusion is about the security doors that were installed for [redacted]. There is no place in the contract that says the plexiglass is one way glass. Its clearly marked on the contract that the plexiglass is tinted. It is illegal to install one way glass in a door. Medallion can...

install a solid piece of plexiglass that you can't see in or out. Everything was installed per contract and when the job was completed [redacted] signed a certificate of completion. The sign off on the completion is saying that the work was done to the customers satisfaction. Medallion strives to satisfy each of our valued customers. Medallion would not mislead any of our customers. Thank you

Date: Fri, Jul 15, 2016 at 1:39 PMSubject: RE: [redacted] Rebuttal ([redacted])To: [redacted] <[redacted]@myRevdex.com.org>The facts are that [redacted] sign a contract with Medallion on 5-15-16.The contract is very clear on what [redacted] was purchasing from Medallion. Medallion has turned this over to there attorney.[redacted] will be cntacted by Medallion's attorney

[redacted] received what she was contracted for. The customer should have went over the layout at the time of purchase. Again Medallion will be happy to make the deck bigger for the customer but there will be a charge. Please contact  us if you would like to proceed with that. Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because: Still a contract is supposed to honored.  Ed the sales man was very confident in his sales pitch etc.  I would like the doors at the price quoted.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that the fair resolution I requested from the company is satisfactory to me.  The service department has contacted me several times and have set a date to come to my residence to get all of the necessary measurements and required information to move forward.

I am rejecting this response because: Attaching the warranty given to us by [redacted], which has "Medallion" written all over - there is no mention of any other manufacturer.  I don't understand why we were given a warranty for iron products when we did not purchase any iron products.  The warranty mentions windows!   I am tempted to contact a small claims court.

My service dept called the customer on 5-8-17 between 1:30-2:00. No one answered so we left a message. The framing for the screen has to be a light weight material so the screen framing is aluminum. Medallion strives to make all of our customers happy. We have a full service dept for that reason. I urge [redacted] to call us so we can take care of her issue, thank you.

Medallion has contacted the lumber manufacture for the customer and in response they contacted the customer. The result  they came up with was the decking was not maintained properly by the customer, and this is why the pressure treated decking would have to be replaced. Unfortunately...

this is not covered under the warranty. As a good company Medallion gave the customer a cost to replace the decking. The price is a at cost price for Medallion. Medallion is just waiting for the go ahead from the customer.

The lumber used was pressure treated. If the customer is questioning the honesty of the lumber manufacturer who would think that the customer is telling the truth about treating the deck properly. The fact is that Medallion does not install non-pressure wood for there decks.  The solution would be to replace the decking boards.Medallion has already gave the customer a estimate for replacing the decking boards.Thank you

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: In any business transaction a consumer must have a reasonable amount of time to assess the product, determine if the product is of value, and make choices as to the credibility of product as assessed. The law is very clear in providing these conditions. As such, it is the general practice of credible businesses to allow for the return of products when consumers are unsatisfied with the product or the level of service. It is extremely disconcerting in this case that Medallion Doors/Fence/Windows would believe that they have no obligation to uphold this practice, PARTICULARLY when no goods or services were provided to this consumer, but more importantly after they discredited themselves when they provided information to the consumer that did not correspond with what was presented at the time of engagement. ---When a consumer purchases a vehicle, they sign a contract; if later they determine that they do not want the vehicle they may return it BUT at least in this case THEY have an item to return. In this case the consumer notified Medallion in advance of service; hence no goods or services were provided by Medallion which makes it unclear as to why Medallion has any expectation that payment should be rendered. This is fraudulent at best, exploitation at a minimal. Regards, [redacted]

My service dept is calling [redacted] today about her screen. The problem is that the customer is pushing the screen and not the door. The screen can not take the force of someone trying to push the steel security door open. You have to push the door open by the handle or by the steel frame of...

the door. We have explained this to the customer many times. We cant control what our customers do.Its up to them to operate the door correctly, thank you.

That is not a problem. I will give this to our service department today to take care of this issue. My service department will be contacting you today, thank you.

There is no reason for Medallion to delay or put off your service.I will personally make sure my service manager calls you today to take care of this issue.Thank you

I'm not sure where the confusion is. Again, there is nothing more that Medallion can offer but the 50% off on a new window. This is our company policy.Thank you

This response does not address the deceitful business sales practices of Eric P[redacted] a Manager at Medallion. The company doesn't take responsibility to honor what theit Manager states. If the company will not honor what we were told and lead to believe from the Manager Eric P[redacted] then we will close this matter and take other actions to address the false advertising presented by Eric P[redacted] the Manager. Thanks

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  this business and their staff lacks integrity, I have NOT received any messages from them.  There is no need for me to call them again for this very reason.   The general manager never returned my call prior to filing this complaint.  I explained in my complaint as well as during previous discussions what I want to see happen to resolve this matter.  Keep in mind I even offered to incur some additional limited expense for a redesign of the screen door.  They are not customer oriented and if the Revdex.com wasn't involved, I most likely would not have received any response at all.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Medallion did not keep me updated via email. Please provide copies of emails sent. This is a lie.If I was informed, why would I be calling the company and sending emails about the status? I can provide copies. Medallion is influencing customers to start construction without  HOA approval which is unethical.

I am rejecting this response because:Date: Thu, Dec 8, 2016 at 3:29 PMSubject: Re: Medallion Complaint Response ([redacted])To: [redacted] <[redacted]>Hello, [redacted]. Thank you for resending this email. The doors were made before the 5 day cancellation date. On the date of cancellation and the day before I was in preparing my Grandmother's funeral which on held on October 20th. The cancellation date was October 19th; however, I received a phone call on that date stating that my doors were ready for installation. No one ever came to measure my doors for them to be installed. I spoke with the manager Michael S[redacted] on October 24th who stated that the company's lawyer would contact me. However, instead of anyone lawyer contacting me regarding the matter a credit account was opened in my name in November long after my conversation with Mr. S[redacted] and still with no doors or contact from the lawyer. I spoke with Mr. S[redacted] again in November after noticing that an account was opened in my name and he said the lawyer was supposed to contact me and was not sure why he didn't. I just received a noticed from the company's lawyer Anthony S[redacted] this week, that is dated for November 23rd. Well over a month when I initially spoke with Mr. S[redacted] and sent in my cancellation notice via email. Thank you for your support with this matter.

[redacted]  Date: Thu, Dec 8, 2016 at 3:38 PMSubject: Fw: Security DoorsTo: "[redacted]" <[redacted]>Hello, [redacted].Below is the email and cancellation notice sent to Michael S[redacted], the general manager of Medallion.Thank you for your assistance with this matter. On Saturday, October 22, 2016 5:00 PM, [redacted] <[redacted]> wrote:General Manager, Michael S[redacted]. On, October 13th, 2016; Eric L[redacted], a representative from Medallion, came to my home to showcase the Medallion security door. Desperate to secure my home after a break-in, I signed a contract to have security doors and a window installed for $4800 with no interest to be paid off after 60 months. On Saturday, October 15th, I contacted Medallion because I wanted to cancel my order. However, I was told to call my sales representative; so I did. I called Eric and told him that I wanted to cancel my contact because I felt that $4800 was a bit too much for the security doors and windows. After speaking with his manager, he said that they could give me the security doors and window for $4000 with no interest to be paid off after 36 months. He told me that the other paper work I signed would be shredded and that I could sign the new contract when we were able to meet. From October 17th until October 20th, I was incapacitated as I was planning a funeral for my Grandmother whom passed the week before. Someone from Medallion contacted me to come out to do measurements however; I was never available or home at the time for them to come. On Thursday, October 20th, after my Grandmother’s funeral, I checked my voicemail and noticed that Medallion had called to say that my doors were ready. I was confused because my doors at my home were never measured, so how could my doors be ready. In addition, I never met with Eric to sign the new contact that he said I needed to sign. Wanting to speak with someone in person, I went over to the Medallion location in Forestville, Maryland on Saturday at 2:00pm. However, the office was closed, although it states on their website that the offices are open from 8am until 6pm on Saturdays. Thus, I contacted Eric and asked him how my doors were ready when I was never home to meet with anyone to take measurements and I never signed the new contact. He stated that the measurements were taken, that the person taken the measurements could have accessed my house from my neighbor’s house. He also said that since he was unable to reach me that other contact was still good. This left me very confused for many reasons. The biggest reason being how trespassing on someone’s property to take measurements is okay and how is the other contact still good, when I was informed that it was being shredded. I have a lot of questions and would love to speak with someone in person on Monday. Thank you,[redacted]
