We hired Kenosha Plumbing for a leaky faucet and clearing a tub drainAfter clearing the drain our renters noticed the ceiling below starting to stainWhen clearing the drain, they had created a small leak in the trap so came out again to repairThey took direction from the renter (without authorization from the owner) to replace the whole trapThe plumber used a sawsall to saw through the old trap and in doing so also cut through a nearby electrical wire taking out power to half the upstairsWater started dripping through the ceiling and the renter voiced concerns and asked if they could use a bucket or something to catch the waterHe was told it was and won’t be muchThe ceiling gave out and water pour over their couchDue to time constraints because we were selling the home, I paid a local electrician cash to fix the electrical damage and patch the ceilingKenosha plumbing then demanded payment and threatened to initiate a mechanical lien if not paidThe cost and damage they caused was due to pure negligenceI would not recommend doing business with a company with such poor ethics as Kenosha Plumbing

On Monday (2/8) [redacted]...

answered the phone to an upset customer of Kenosha Plumbing Inc. She explained that a drain pipe was installed too close to her furnace and it needed to be corrected. He asked her if she knew the technician’s name that was out at her property or if she has the invoice from the work. She then explained this work was done in 2010. [redacted] and the customer agreed to an appointment between 3:30-4:30 on Wednesday (2/10) for him to assess the situation.
After hanging up with the customer, [redacted] explained the situation to [redacted], asking if we would warranty work from 2010. [redacted] explained because the business, Kenosha Plumbing Inc, was closed in 2013 and is no longer in business, the work cannot be warrantied. We are not Kenosha Plumbing Inc- This business is KD Plumbing Inc DBA Kenosha Plumbing, unfortunately for the customer, we cannot correct the wrong for free. It was [redacted]’s intention to explain this to the customer as well as provide her with an es[redacted]ate for repair during the scheduled appointment on Wednesday (2/10).

On Wednesday (2/10) at 4:08pm, [redacted] received a call from a very upset customer. She began with a raised tone to ask where “the guy” was, referring to [redacted] asked her name, which she did tell her, then proceeded to tell [redacted] about the problem with the drain pipe. [redacted] explained to the customer, we wouldn’t be able to warranty anything from 2010 because this is not that business. She asked [redacted] why ‘The Guy’ didn’t tell her that on Monday, which [redacted] responded “I’m not sure”. After argument and threatening lawyer involvement, the customer told [redacted] “you are obviously no better than them, I don’t need you” and hung up.

The customer then called back at 4:10pm. [redacted] answered the phone “Kenosha Plumbing” the customer responded with “see you answer the phone ‘Kenosha Plumbing’ how can you tell me this is not the same company” and hung up.

Today, (10/12) The customer issued a statement via the Revdex.com referring to the drain line problem. After reading her statement, [redacted] noted, he did not tell the customer the drain should have been installed 2 ft. away from the furnace – he was not sure where she got that information from.

Unfortunately for the customer, the work she had done in 2010 was by a company that is no longer in business. KD Plumbing Inc cannot fix the problem under warranty because it is a separate entity and not responsible for the work done previously by any other company.

The Company "Kenosha Plumbing Inc" was bought 4-1-2013 from [redacted]. I purchased the Name and the phone number. That is why we answer the phone as Kenosha Plumbing. We are Doing Business As Company.
