This guy stole $400 from us!!!

we called about a repair to the mixing bowl on an [redacted] shower body, a job I 've done myself in the past, but just don't have time now. The part is about $50.00 and even at $100 per hour, the job took 15 minutes. The job at most should have been $150.

I couldn't be at home when they came, they only work until 4pm, so my wife was there to let him in, I spoke with the mechanic over the phone after he had looked at the problem, he told me the cost and told him he was nuts, he explained that the was a charges chart that he needed to follow. Being in a bind I told him to replace the cartridge and adjust the flow mixture

The mixing bowl regulates the amount of hot and cold water mixing together, so if it's warm the level should be in the middle, after the so called plumber was done and left be fore my wife even had the opportunity to check it. When I got home and found it to be almost as bad as before they came, so I called and told them that job was done unsatisfactorily and need to comeback to rectify the issues. We explained to them that we were not going to loose anymore work time and they needed to accommodate our schedule, it took them over a week to come back, they came and put a business card in the mailbox stating that they were there at a specific time and decided not to wait, we've called to complain about the treatment and to get someone back, but all we got was voicemail.

When the supposed work was done, there was no offer of the old parts, there was no invoice or bill of sale and the was no statement of warranty. Had I known this I would not have had these people into my home, that why it's important for me to write this now so hopefully I can save others from making the same mistake

Ok...I called this company on 2/**/16...Girls answers phone..I tell her all I need are the Hot & Cold Shut-Off valves replaced...I ask if I could get a ballpark figure and she says no..Plumber has to come out first and will bill according to job...I asked her what they charge per hour and she says they charge by the job!!...I stated that that is RIDICULOUS and is no way to run a business..I hung up and went to their website and low and behold there is a section for an on-line quote..however after completing and submitting a pop-up came up requesting that I sign in via social media which I did not want to do....STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY--VERY CAGEY!!

I call another company and they said they charge $60 per hour + materials which gave me enough information and I scheduled and they said they would be over in a few hours!!
