Ken's Painting & Home Repairs Reviews (1)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.12-03-2017 Complaint ID #  [redacted]Original complaint sent and filed September 12, 2017. After 30 days, a follow-up phone call to Revdex.com on October 19, 2017, I was told Ken’s Painting had not responded to 2 requests but would give a call to the business.  December 1, 2017 received response from Revdex.com. I adamantly reject the response. The response to the Revdex.com from Ken’s Painting begins with a lie.  The last contact from Ken Ero was August 30, 2017, in text form and it did not mention any plans to complete the work.  If he had not been contacted about the complaint, jeopardizing his Revdex.com status, it is highly unlikely that I would have heard anything from him.     It should be pointed out that the contract was signed October 12, 2015 with a $5,000.00 deposit accepted by Ken Ero.  There is no wording in the contract about staging the work, so that part of his response to Revdex.com represents lie #2.  His neglect cannot be disguised as staging. Two and half years is more than enough time to stage a project. ·      September 30 2016, Ken asked for a progress payment in order to hire men because he fired the others because of poor workmanship and painting skills.   He swore he would complete our project first thing in the Spring.  Which is the same lie he stated to the Revdex.com response.  When the weather cleared enough for work to be done again, around August 15, 2017 I contacted Ken Ero and he again promised to complete the work, starting on August 17, 2017.  No one showed up and I continued to text him with no response.  ·      August 21, 2017 scaffolding was dropped off and On Tuesday August 22, 2017 two men came and scrapped a section of the back of the house, removing plugs in holes of the siding.  This damaged our siding allowing water and insect infiltration.  I texted Ken and he never responded to my concerns.  They left leaving all the paint chips all over the place which I and my wife cleaned up.  ·      The front upper level and garage were completed in 2015 with a promise to complete the rest of the home in 2016.  Some other work was done in 2016 involving window replacement.  That has not been finished either.  The south facing wall of the garage was started in 2015 and to this day, December 3, 2017, is still not finished.  ·      Third lie is all of his tools are on my premises.  He dropped off scaffolding August 21, 2017 left it all over the place which I had to move in order to mow and use the patio. Ken Ero has a not responded to our concerns until notified of our complaint.  He does not deserve the Revdex.com rating and is a liar and thief. I have engaged another contractor to estimate finishing our project and he recommended that Ken’s painting should be sued because he is giving honest contractors a bad reputation.  The damage he has done and promised to, but never repaired, is the least of the reasons that would prohibit Ken Painting from ever having access to my home again.  Just because he told you of it doesn’t mean he has actually made arrangements with me. Doesn’t it raise questions that he never responded to the Revdex.com’s initial requests.  When I tried to find out the status of my complaint in October I was told he did not respond to the two written requests but the Revdex.com would be extending to him the curtesy of a phone call. He breeched the contract, damaged our property and did not respond to texts or phone calls from August 30, 2017 until December 1, 2017.  This is only after receipt of the Revdex.com notice of response.  He has made no attempt to resolve any issues surrounding the damage to the brick on the front of our home and damage to the roof where his workers spilt paint and walked on the roof without protecting it.  He has had since April 2016, again that’s April 2016, to meet the contract specifications of a contract signed in October 2015. He has not made any good faith effort and he has lied to you in his response.  He took my money and never did any work for it in April 2016.    He needs to be removed from the Revdex.com status.  If this is the type of business entity the Revdex.com supports, then the Revdex.com has diminished its integrity and reputation.
