Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards,*** ***
How can you tamper with something that is already a fakeSeller knew that I had to remove those two damage beads and I had them test for purity of Goldtesting is not tampering, you could ask any Jeweler. This necklace was made to deceive a buyerLike I said before real gold necklace with beads should not have been more than 10-grams but according to his listing necklace was grams I think this seller is very dishonest and I am sure I am not the only getting cheated by this seller

Revdex.comServing the Snake River RegionE50th StreetBoise, Idaho 83714Ladies and Gentleman:I am responding to Complaint #***Below is my response.KENS PAWN & JEWELRYOn June 24, 2015, my EBay sales associate listed the 14ktsolid gold ball beads necklace for sale on
EBay.Auction number ***The sale was a buy it now or best offer saleThe details of this listing arebetter described on attached EBay printoutThe necklace was sold on June 25, to EBay buyer"***"On June 30, 2015, the buyer opened a case with EBay alleging that the necklace wascounterfeit or fake, and requesting a refundIn the buyers written explanation, which is attached forreference, the buyer explained that the necklace was taken to a jeweler and was somehow dismantled ortampered withThe buyer indicates that the jeweler removed two of the beads and subjected them to someform of testing, they tested to be goldWith some mathematical calculation and testing the jewelerdetermined that the other beads were not realUpon receiving this information my EBay sales associatecontacted EBay and explained that we have a day return policy, but because the necklace was tamperedwith or altered we are refusing to give the buyer a refundThe bases for this reasoning is by tampering withthe necklace we do not know what was done to it, and it is not in its original conditionThe jeweler thattinkered with it could have switched parts or done a hundred other thingsAfter my sales associate explainedthis the EBay representative; EBay's appeals level representative agreed with my sales associate and EBayclosed the case in our favor and removed the negative feedback the buyer left.If the buyer had not tinkered with or dismantled the necklace, removed the round balls and such we wouldhave been very happy to give them a full and complete refundIf you have any further questions please feelfree to contact me

Ken's Pawn & Jewelry has had extensive discussions with eBay about this issue. eBay has informed us that: shipping cost of items listed on eBay should be assumed to include the costs of not only the postage but the materials and labor needed to package the item. All bidders and buyers should...

assume these costs are included in the stated shipping charges whether they are itemized or not. eBay has exonerated us from any wrong doing or any violation of their policy in this matter. eBay has removed the negative feedback left by [redacted]. [redacted] was fully aware of the shipping charges before the purchase was finalized. [redacted] had ample time to contact us and discuss the shipping charges before completing the purchase. One aspect of this issue has concerned eBay and Ken's Pawn & Jewelry; is that [redacted] committed extortion. In numerous messages from [redacted] to us, [redacted] threatened to leave us a negative feedback if we did not refund the $2.23. eBay considers this type of communication Extortion. This is not the first time that [redacted] has done this type of extortion. We feel that this action is a violation of several regulations and laws. We are preparing a complete report of this incident, including all email correspondence, and submitting it to our local law enforcement agency.   If [redacted] wants to get technical, there are by his  reasoning a whole host of hidden charges in the transportation fee that the carriers charge us, and the public. Such as labor, fuel cost, various types of insurance, taxes, and a profit. These are just a few of the items that are included in the price of the shipping company's charge to deliver the purchase. None of these "so called "hidden charges" are itemized.   The price of anything one purchases whether from the corner deli or Walmart has a plethora of what [redacted] calls hidpen charges. With [redacted] reasoning in this matter I am wondering if he asks the grocery store manager for a spread sheet of the hidden charges included in the milk, eggs and cheese that he purchases!   [redacted] claim is without any sort of merit. We are not going to refund [redacted] the $2.23 . Sincerely, Rodney P[redacted]President

I am rejecting this response.  No further comments will be made and I ask that no further communication regarding this come from the individual/company in question.
