Ken's VW Custom

Took my 72 beetle there to fix the timing and found out my motor was trash so Ken said he could find me a good used motor for a fair price. I waited and waited a few weeks and nothing then he said I should try finding one my self so I did. I told him I just had found one for X amount of money and he basically made me feel like an i[censored] and that he could had done better so I wasn't very happy anymore.
Finally told the guy I was done with him and that I would stop by and take my car.
Dude when INSANE and said something in the lines of me threatening him and why was I doing this to him among other crazy stuff.
I wouldn't recommend this place even if it was free!
The guy seems cool and knowledgeable at the beginning but at the end turned out to be out of his mind.

Review: After being given a total out the door price ($[redacted]), I paid a deposit of $[redacted] to build a [redacted] (long block). After five months of no work being done, I told him that I wanted my money back or atleast all my parts that were going to be used (all brand new). Another month goes by and he finally "has" my parts. I received the parts, but then find out they are the incorrect parts to build the engine size we agreed on. I called him to seek clarification and he did not comply.... he was very agressive and belligerent and told me to never call or come see him again...and so on...Now I am stuck with parts that arent what I paid for, nor match to build an engine of a [redacted] displacement.Desired Settlement: All I want is the parts that I paid for. The parts I have are useless to me. They are perfectly brand new but are not what I paid for. All he did was "rob Peter to pay Paul" and he never got a chance to save money to start building my engine. He basically used my deposit money somewhere else and gave me whatever parts he had in stock to get me off his back.
