This unit was purchased by Mr*** in August 2011, and installedFor all installations we provide year labor and part warranty based on manufacturerDuring the sale of the installation and the install we offered customer a year parts w year labor warranty and a future year LABOR
warranty that can be purchased as well, to cover any LABOR costs after the 1st yearCustomer denied labor warrantyTherefore, any labor to replace parts must be paid out of pocket after the 1st yearIn all installations, manufacturer requires Preventative Maintenance review of the system at least time per year, recommended is 2x per yearCustomer denied a PM in and our first PM was done in 2013. The following are calls made for the PM to the customer: > 6/6/THU 9:AM> NELDA: customer called in and wanting to see about adding the refrigerant to his a/c due to cust was told that this inspection would include refrigerantINVOICE ***: DANTE 06-04-13 > 6/4/TUE 3:PM> NELDA: CALLED CUST TO ADVISE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE IT TODAY BUT WOULD BE ABLE TO ON FRIDAY CUST STATED SHE WOULD BE GOING OUT OF TOWN AND WOULD HAVE HER HUSBAND CALL BACK, CALLED CUST BACK AND SENT DANTE > 6/4/TUE 9:AM> NELDA: CALLED CUST TO SETUP APPT TODAY FOR PM CUST AGREED TO 1:00PM OR SO $TUNE UP CUSTOMER WANTS THIS DONE TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY - CALL HIM TO SET IT UP!! >5/31/FRI 4:PM> Sarah: CALLEDLEFT MESSAGE >1/21/MON 5:PM> Sarah: NOT AT THIS TIMEDOES NOT WANT HEAT TUNE UPONLY A/C CALL IN SUMMER >11/13/TUE 11:AM> Sarah: SET UP TUNE UP FOR SYSTEM REVIEWMOVED FURTHER OUT SINCE WE WERE JUST THERE IN JULY LAST YEAR >10/17/WED 6:PM> Sarah: n/acould not leave message >10/2/TUE 6:PM> CYN: N/A Note, We re routed a drain line that was backing up free of charge for customer, through the drain line was not part of the initial installationWe did NOT return to the customers home for a PM until March Which is years later, without any preventative maintenance reviews or washes to systemUpon our review of the system we found a LEAK at the coil, which is now years after installationFor the leak repair, we offered the following costs to the customer $ shipping cost from manufacturer $ labor $ refrigerant (*up too - no more than, may vary based on how many lbs are used) TOTAL: $Our labor charge is $to replace the coil (of which $was already paid and applied from the TXV charge that did not resolve the matter) the difference comes in the refrigerant and freight chargesWe are NOT over priced but have always been within reason and offer financing even on part replacementsThe customer was called today and informed again that the office was attempting to assist him in all matters: > 4/18/MON 8:AM> felipe: CALLED MR***ASKED IF HE WANTED TO GET AC REPAIRED HE SAID IT WAS TO MUCH MONEY AND THAT HE COULD NOT AFFORD TO GET IT DONEI ASKED IF HE WANTED IT FINANCED AND HE SAID NOI ADVISED MR*** THAT THE PART WOULD HAVE TO GO BACK IN A WEEK AND THAT SHIPPING WAS ALREADY PAIDHE SAID HE DID NOT WANT REPAIRSTherefore, we are not over pricing labor, it is all the expenses together that customer is responsible for, the refrigerant will vary based on needWe cannot put in free LABOR for coil replacement if Labor warranties are not purchasedThis customer has not had Atlas service the unit in years, we cannot guarantee manufacturer equipment without proper maintenanceWe wish to speak to customer more to explain; however, customer resolves that we are too expensive and does not want service.Submitted: 04/18/2016FURTHER: This is the customer that we responded to in the initial Negative review where they stated they refused to pay for the service, because our fee's are too highThe leak and dye test is NOT covered by parts warrantyThe $was for these servicesThe $payment was what was applied down to the repair of the coil, not just charged for the txv, we replaced the txv, but when the unit did NOT work after days, we applied the $that was paid for that replacement towards the charges of the $which is why he was told that the coil was shipped and had already been paid forCustomer stated on Friday, he did not want the coil which we have here in our shop ready for the repair because he does not want to pay the labor to replace the coil and the balance on the refrigerantPlease keep in mind that this is a follow up to an already entered negative report, and that this customer did NOT perform yearly PMWe are working as much as possible with this customer, but it appears all he wants to do is claim we are crooks without understanding the necessity of maintenance and that the balance he would have to pay for the repair of the coil itself was $His claims above are incorrect, and his payment for the unit was not $5,it was $4,and it was purchased in with only one maintenance in the years since purchase.Submitted: 04/19/
