Angry vet.
I had been going to Dr. C[redacted] since I moved to Wilmington a few years ago. I had an appointment to bring my two dogs that have been going for 2.5 years and my new husband's dog, who would have been a first time patient. We went for exams and a heartworm test. The tech asked about their vaccines which were coming due but Dr. C[redacted] only offers annual vaccines instead of 3 year vaccines, which they'd been getting. Penny gets very ill from the vaccines and I said that I'd prefer to get her a three year vaccine even if I had to bring her somewhere else for it. The vet tech left the room and came back and told us that we had to leave, that Dr. C[redacted] would only see us if we came for vaccines as well. We asked to speak with him and he came into the room angry and told us to leave. He said that we couldn't choose what we'd come to him for, he didn't want us as patients.
I was happy with this vet for years and never experienced a vet coming into the room and yelling at me, telling me to get out. My dogs had seen Dr. C[redacted] whenever they were sick or needed care for the past few years. I had made the appointment for the three dogs for exams and heartworm tests, if he had such a requirement that we had to have vaccines there and could only do a one year vaccine they should have let us know when we made the appointment. This was upsetting and ridiculous. His behavior was unacceptable and unprovoked. Terrible choice for a vet.

Review: Would request a refund and for Revdex.com purposes also for poor service. 8/14/15 a.m. - emergency visit to Kentmere Vet Hosp. (Dr.[redacted]) for young, female feline named Gigi with severely bloated abdomen, lethargy. dehydration and not eating. Requested Kentmere for full exam including aspiration of fluid, blood work, etc. (full exam). Weight not taken, no fluid given for deydration, no aspiration of excessive fluid, no blood work done, no oral exam; x-ray was taken w/diagnosis of gas pocket and fluid. Kentmere advised would give me referral upon my call to his office on 8/17. Called Kentmere (Dr. [redacted]) on 8/14 p.m. 3 times and left messages re help needed to try and give her some relief over weekend. Called 3 times on 8/15 since pet failing. Called 8/17 2 times and left messages. No returned calls from Kentmere nor his staff on any of these dates. 8/18, pet taken to Chadds Ford vet; Vet removed excessive amount of fluid via aspiration from abdomen and new x-rays taken; full blood work, complete exam. Meds also given to release fluid. Chadds Ford vet called Kentmere to request copy of x-ray and no one came to line. Chadds Ford vet called back and was hung up on. Kentmere refused to speak to Chadds Ford vet. [redacted] refused to release x-rays to me or Chadds Ford vet. Charlotte Dougherty paid Kentmere $265.00 on 8/14 Chadds Ford vet advised Kentmere had charged 3 times what normal x-ray would cost ($80.00) 8/20 returned pet to Chadds Ford vet for another abdominal aspiration. Tragically, little Gigi passed away that afternoon at Chadds Ford facility with family there. Requested refund of $265.00 for incomplete exam, incorrect disagnosis and negligence to help family give relief for pet. Cost of x-ray also exorbitant by Kentmere.Desired Settlement: Refund of $265.00 paid to Kentmere
