Kentucky Fried Chicken of Eastern NC

KFC family meals are advertised as including specific items but this store switches in other goods,refuses to honor paid receipt.I purchased 2 sixteen piece family meals on a Saturday April 30, 2016 at 5:07 pm. My receipt specifically states that each meal was supposed to have 4 breasts, 4 thighs, 4 legs, and 4 wings along with the 4 sides I had requested and biscuits. I have had issues before with this franchise leaving off the sides so my son and I made a point to check that they were all there before we left the store. Upon arriving home we set out the meal for people to serve themselves and I discovered that the meals did not come with the chicken as stated on receipt. Each 16 pc meal only came with 1 breast and in one meal it was mostly wings. This was totally unacceptable as the wings are very tiny, about half the size of other chains, so the portions were not appropriate. I made attempt to call but phone was not answered so I made an online comment on the KFC website. A message was left on my voicemail the next day by a person named [redacted] who said he was some kind of district manager I believe. I returned his call later in the week and stated again what I had written earlier. After speaking [redacted] called me back within minutes with questions about purchases at another KFC in town. I stated that I had only visited the one restaurant this year and that it was the N. Marine Blvd site. He questioned me again and I reiterated that I had not shopped the other store at all since approximately September 2015 and asked what this was about. [redacted] declined to elaborate and said he would get back later in week. On Saturday morning May 7, 2016 I received a call back from [redacted] at which time he accused me of scamming/stealing from his stores and told me I was banned from restaurants. I was shocked and asked him what he was talking about but he just kept saying he had pictures of me and a credit card statement proving I made a purchase. I was confused as I was the one who had called about the purchase so I didn't understand why that was in dispute. During this time[redacted] was very agitated and refused to answer my questions but progressed from accusations to threats of the police. I tried to point out that I had made a purchase which was not fulfilled per the KFC ads or my receipt and to ask again what he was talking about but he simply repeated "Good day, good day" so that was the end of the call. I had made the comment online as KFC charges extra for the breast portions and I had received the wings instead so it followed then I should be refunded the difference. I was unable to make a comment to [redacted] as he was very emotional and refused to listen to anything I had to say.Desired SettlementKFC charges extra for the breast portion so I would like a refund of the pieces I was not provided. I believe the upcharge is $1 each and I received 2 out of 8 equaling $6 overcharge.Business Response [redacted], area coach for Coastal Plains Restaurants, LLC reached out to Mrs. [redacted] to apologize for what she felt we had done wrong. He gave Mrs. [redacted] his cell phone number and has asked for her to please come back to our stores and that he will meet her out there personally to replace her meal. She was very satisfied with his response.
