Kentucky Service Dog Association Inc. Reviews (2)

Hi,
Can you please let me know if I can have a extension? My reason why, I have filed in court and scheduled on the 14th. I am working with other offices. I do not want her to get her hands on my evidence to be prepared for court. I never received a Cease and Desist letter, this is how bad this lady is. I will contact you asap back if I hear something sooner. Please advise me if you can give me this time for a response back to her outrageous claims and response to warn others consumers.
Thank you,
[redacted]
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted]

See attachment. I am [redacted] and I do have a dog training facility in [redacted] Ky and did meet this [redacted] couple months ago. My facility has helped numerous veterans receive service animals at no cost to the veteran. To qualify that veteran must submit a complete and accurate...

application along with a DD214 and a disability rating sheet in addition to a note from a licensed physician stating the need for a service animal to accomodate their disability. Once this is done, l, as an individual attempting to do something nice for someone, will go out of my way and ask on behalf of each individual veteran so as to spare the cost of training to that individual Veteran. This is on a case by case basis. The civilian adoption fee for a dog to include all additional training required to become a service animal including training aids, west, etc. is $4,000.00. Veterans receive a discount and are charged $2,500.00 as well But Again...are given the option for me to inquire about individual sponsors on a per individual basis which means the Veteran is either given the funds directly or they are sent to my facility in interest of the veteran. I require, however, those documents during the application phase and those documents must belong to the individual who is needing the service dog, not relative or other. If said veteran cannot submit said documents to substantiate that they are in fact a veteran, but wishes to continue as a civilian they are allowed at a rate of $4,000.00 per dog per team per class.Upon my original meeting with [redacted] she did inquire as to Some certificates that displayed behind my desk on a wall and remarked were they mine. I just said yes. As far as know we moved on to dog training or at least did.[redacted] and her husband [redacted] would both interrupt me during my Course of instruction with stories from other people she had done business with whom she believed had ripped her off, stating she was having issues with a company over delivering a treat a couple days outdated. She was also having a problem with a company she called [redacted]. She was having problems with another service dog agency she claimed, although her application stated she had not been previously committed to another service dog agency. He actually called them a bunch of felons With a Criminal record.During the conversation [redacted] inquired as to the general cost of training in an e collar class for her bulldog she claimed did not hear. I priced her the class and she refused saying it was more than what she had but requested what brand of ecollar she should use for the dog and recommended her a decent safe brand of ecollar which is not too strong for a deaf dog and Wrote that description at the bottom of a list which had provided her, of things to get for her service dog, to be when they became ready to take him home (which was a labradoodle male). She did train with the labradoodle male both in the facility and in public in a manner that decided she seemed competent enough to handle the dog without me and invited her to take the prospect  home for the weekend to make sure he bonded with the family and was accepted by the bulldog. She also wrote in her adoption application that the labradoodle must get along with her livestock. This was to make sure early in training that the service dog in training would get along with her livestock, bulldog, and household. While awaiting alleged paperwork substantiating she was a veteran, had made contact with a man by the name of [redacted] whom was alleged to be her sponsor for her veteran service dog. He agreed this was the case. I make sure each of my veterans' sponsors are assured as well that the veterans are qualified. If ever I cannot receive said paperWork Verifying veteran status, its common practice for me to contact any involved sponsor and advise them not to issue any sponsoring funds until further notice, which did occur in this case. I made a phone call to [redacted] to advise him not to send or donate anything until completed some paperwork. The necessary documentation was never produced. Upon hearing this, [redacted], accompanied by her husband, immediately volunteered to pay the civilian rated adoption fee and continue training, hence the $4,000.00 mentioned above.also gave her another chance and said during the weekend while the dog was home with her if she could produce military paperwork which was valid that we would honor that, contact her sponsor, and if he did indeed sponsor her then refund her deposit. During this process, she contacted me claiming the dog had bitten her and that she had been to the emergency room for treatment, but could not produce any documentation Concerning the event, and stated that the only thing that was done is she was found to be behind on a tetanus vaccine so it was updated and she was released with no validity that it was in fact a bite.Upon hearing this, recommended she bring the dog, all equipment and all paperwork back to me and either receive a different animal or a refund. I waited in my facility for 4 hours after their appointed time to return with the dog. When they finally arrived they only had a dog at the end of a leash. There was a small bag of chews. No vest, no paperwork and no other equipment (training aids) accompanied the dog. told her have to have everything that you took with you back in order to issue you a refund. She then elected to adopt a puppy which was at the facility. This was a female rottweiler puppy approximately 9 weeks old.I told her that I would go ahead and rewrite her contract if she wanted this puppy and that 1. She could not take possession of this puppy until it was 12 weeks old and cleared by a veterinarian and 2. Because she kept insisting she was a veteran and that her husband also was, that would provide her the puppy, equipment, training aids, west, and class for the veteran discount of $2,500. if that would make her happy. She agreed that it was a wonderful idea. They elected to put $1,500 toward the new puppy and its training and thats how wrote the second contract, and reminded them to deliver when they returned next week for training, the items missing from our original agreement.Late that night she called me again and stated that they had changed their minds about the rottweiler puppy having said someone told her it was not a good Service dog and she had went online and committed to a contract for a female german shepherd puppy and would be so kind as to deliver $600 to her as she did not feel like coming after it and she wished to leave $900. in her training fund for the german shepherd. agreed to do this but stated that all funds delivered after hours would be in the form of a check for my safety and I met them and delivered said check for the amount of $600.00 with the understanding she would return next week to begin training with her new german shepherd. She has cashed said check.A few hours passed, not sure how many, was exhausted. She contacted me back to let me know she had changed her mind again and that the man who was to sponsor her in the beginning, now thanks to me had developed his own program, did not need me anymore and therefore, would be coming first thing the following morning for a refund of the remaining $900.I did argue with her at first because I felt confident that she was having some type of alternate issue which could be resolved if given some advice. However, afterwards was working away when she walked into my facility and left with her cash. She hugged me when she left and stated that I was "from the goodside of the family" a comment which ignored due to failure to comprehend its meaning. To this point had struggled with her as a client but felt confident had done everything in my power to assist her and wrote off the items she kept which belonged to me. It was several weeks later when I got news from someone who had seen a post on facebook alleging that was a "criminal with a background "something about a convicted murderer, and that should take a look. I did in fact politely respond to the organization's facebook page and requested that they remove it. I was met with violent criticism immediately from someone I had never met talking about hanging me, making me suffer, etc. and blocked this individual. A few more days passed and I saw yet more and more posts random rantings accusing me of different things. Upon investigation I found fake websites with my name and photo and company name attached. Thinking most people who knew me would know me better I let it go.Days later still and hear rumors that I am supposedly cheating my local chapter of the [redacted] which she admits to the Commander that she saw me in the newspaper 2 years ago and that she was following. 2 years ago she also was following a youtube video on our veteran program where it appears that she was the only person who voted "thumbs down" via the stats. However, that event was 2 years ago which leads me to believe this was a plotted attack on both me and my facility.[redacted] alleged that she had spoken to the sheriff and the mayor. Both deny contact. She alleges that the [redacted] states to her that have scammed them somehow. The board members of the [redacted] and myself met and went over the complaint. One of the board members states [redacted] provided him with a membership D from a Legion which he says could not confirm the identity thereof and had never heard of this woman. She continues to call and harass members of the [redacted] Post 81.[redacted] alleges that offered her no training, yet displays photos of our training sessions on the internet. She alleges that she was too busy cleaning up poop from the dog in all the stores. This did not happen.[redacted] then it appears went online and cyberstalked me to gain access to everyone who had been around me or in my facility, even to my ex in laws and their families. My ex husband came to See me this morning and he was told that she has accused me of abusing dogs. This is absurd. This is nonsense. She claims shocked her dog until it fell down. Her dogs are a german shepherd puppy and a bulldog which have never met. Nobody and nothing was ever electrically shocked at this facility. The candidate for service dog in training which she met via this facility experienced only one behavioral problem that saw while in training and that was a failure to want to "brace for stability" for her on command at times and would lay down actually and just wag his tail. At first believed this was due to improper hand placement of the handler on the back of the dog. now believe he was either afraid of her or just did not like her which happens. Not all dogs are meant for all people.later learned that [redacted] has now sent a letter to the governor, filed a complaint with the Attorney General and started a formal petition claiming abuse animals and children. She has photos which were taken from an actual abuse case in [redacted] two years ago and posted those photos alleging this and the imagery has gotten her several signatures on this petition.[redacted] goes farther still with the petition by actually forging some signatures that I am aware of onto her petition. I have obtained a statement from 1 denying she signed and that her signature was forged. There were more. She actually posted online the other day that she is collecting donations herself in order to buy refreshments, "aids like canes" for her protestors to appear disabled, and has encouraged physical violence against me via both telephone communications from her over the past few days committing both extortion and terroristic threatening by internet. During a particular telephone conversation she uses the words "pay to shut up" and then the words "just pay with your life" and advised me to be ready to meet God.During [redacted]'s initial visit, a medically retired combat wounded veteran who resides in the adjacent efficiency apartment was sitting quietly saying nothing during her training but observed. Later in one of her posts she not only stated that she was aware that he had previously attempted suicide but blasted all over the internet that he was nothing more than a "bum who had slit his wrist". She related to either him or myself later in another public display of anger as a being a Convicted murderer.[redacted] continued beyond that by cold calling my present clients. At least 2 of them and maybe more she has harassed online. [redacted] trashed a latter client's crowdfunding account so badly that elected to go onto the site myself and refund all the donors to please [redacted] because she stated could not place the dog who didn't like her but wanted him dead. informed her that while would not destroy an innocent dog, would be willing to remove him from the availability list temporarily if this made her feel better. After this [redacted] went online and found another of my clients, verbally assaulted her online, and threatened to trash her name if she continued to mess with me. One of the legion members suspects she is frequently following me due to the fact that, just last night, he states that by the time I had left his office and entered the parking lot that his phone rang and she said something like well now that you have seen her what do you think of her, was how she began this Conversation.Honestly, I realized she was complaining because the dog didn't like her, and up until the point of introducing the puppy, that she felt she was not going to receive a veterans discount, which was resolved in the second contract after we tore up the first one (which is the one she shows), but not until read your complaint where she claims she didn't get her other portion of her refund, which was cash, and its past the window of opportunity for my security cameras to catch it as the system has purged. I am at a loss as to how to prove that. However, rather than just come and say to me that she felt there was a problem, she went behind my back and done this much damage to me. It was brought to my attention the other day that [redacted] may be relation to some people bearing my same last name. I do not recognize any of them.it appears that [redacted] has either filed a complaint with Whois and ICANN stating I am not the owner of that account, or the fact that other accounts exist now bearing the same name, that it created a red flag because have a notice from ICANN and Whois that I have the complaint. thought something like that would classify as identity theft? One of her affiliates mentioned "hanging from a tree" in reference to me on the internet. It is possible that many of her affiliates are either extended family members or fake profiles altogether.[redacted] went into the public records and found the only other time I have had a problem with Someone over a dog and has exploited that above and beyond anyone else's wildest imagination. She has also reached out to 2 other clients who did receive training but never paid, and have exploited that beyond imagination. These people along with their relatives have signed her petition and I have no idea how many others beyond the initial 2 have been forged.Recently we mailed her an order to cease and desist. This only made matters worse. I am sorry for the long response but figured you should have all the details before making a final decision. If there is anything else I can do please let me know. I thank you for your time. Please understand that this facility is not currently enrolled in any government funding agencies or receiving any rewards for training service dogs for veterans. This is just something that I thought would be nice to do, help out. I have by myself now serviced 31 veterans in the last year and out of those 31 service men and women, I think there are 3 of those veterans who have paid out of pocket for their service animal. Many of them are still in training and a few are preparing to graduate.Upon graduation from this facility the dog team does receive adequate documentation to register their dog with the VA, if a veteran, for the purpose of receiving the benefit of continued care for their service animal.Thank you,
