Hi [redacted], as we discussed the driveline failure was not covered under warranty due to your truck being modified from manufacture specifications and it has aftermarket rims, oversized tires and a lift kit. With that, [redacted] company will...

not warranty the repair as outlines in the Warranty guide. Furthermore, you purchased the vehicle pre owned from a ** dealership. Your transaction occurred with them, not us. The continuity of the purchase and our responsibility towards this truck ended when our customer traded the vehicle to the ** dealership. Going forward, the ** dealership assumes the responsibility of the vehicle. You showed me your bill of sale from the ** dealership, where they clearly marked that the level kit was not covered under warranty. [redacted]
There was no service bill of $300 charged to you on the prior service visit to our dealership.
Lastly, with regards to the scratch on your truck, I said to you that I felt this marking was no different than the other 20-30 markings, scrapes, rock chips or dents on your vehicle and appeared to be consistent to me on your truck. With that said, I do not feel any of my staff was responsible for putting these markings on your truck. If I felt we were responsible I would cover something. If the damages occurred some other way, then you always do have the option to have the repairs covered under your insurance policy as vandalism to your vehicle.

Upon hearing the customers complaint, we agreed to detail, ionize, fill up with fuel and place $300 on the customers inhouse Go Card.We interviewed the driver who had delivered the customer vehicle to them, and he swears he did not smoke in the customers vehicle.We are not certain on how/what...

happened, however we 100% gave the customer the benefit of the doubt, and completed the above services.We just completed a walk thru of the vehicle with the final detail inspection being completed with myself, the service manager and customer to ensure that the vehicle was cleaned to her satisfaction.Also of note, after the prior complaint of smokers at the entrances on purchasing the vehicle, we have installed no smoking signs at our entrances, moved and created smoking zones away from any entrances. Thank youAshley R**

Kentwood Ford has spoken with [redacted] and have agreed to replace the vehicle with a 2013 [redacted] model. At this time [redacted] is completely satisfied

4 tires will be shipped out today/tomorrow to your home address that you have supplied to us.
A replacement tire will also be shipped with the other...

four, to replace the defective one.Once you have the replacement tire there, please notify [redacted] and he will issue a PO for the company to replace at no charge to you.
A cheque for the amount of 144.75 is being sent out to your home address to reimburse for your out of pocket expense.
On behalf of the dealership, please accept my apologies for the delays.  [redacted] has been away for the last 2 weeks on vacation, but I feel this is something that could have been dealt with a lot swifter.
