At this time, I have been contacted directly by Egyptair regarding complaint ID [redacted] , however my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I was told that "Since, I did not file a complain at the airport, I can not get any refund for the damaged luggage" do not accept that and I still want a refund Sincerely, [redacted]

The passenger has filed a complaint with U.SDeptof Transportation.If he does not agree with the baggage amount offered by the insurance company, then he mustsend back the discharge form unsigned with a separate letter explaining why he will not acceptthe amount with a detailed description of
items pilfered, as well as the additional travelers withhim.He may forward this letter to me at ** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ***and it will then be re-sent back to the insurance company for re-evaluation which will takefrom 6-weeks as they are located in Cairo, EGYPT.Thank you

Dear Sir/Madam,On 02/**/I filed a complaint against Egypt Air, on 03/**/I got an e-mail from Revdex.com informing me that a response was received, I checked the response on that same day and answered back as it didn't resolve my issue, as a matter of fact the airline asked for my ticket and for the article that was published entitling me to a refund in the amount of $I attached my ticket and the article that was published by two different websites and I printed that from both of themI uploaded them and attached them to my response. It has been a while and I hadn't heard back, so today I logged into Revdex.com to see if any response was ever sentI discovered that yesterday 04/**/was my last day to respond, and I had no idea since I didn't get any e-mails from Revdex.com as I usually get regarding the matter. I looked again at the response I received from the airline, and they are asking for the same documents I have previously sent themI am not sure why they hadn't get itI tried to respond, but the complaint was closed, I would appreciate it if you could reopen so I can get this resolved, since it was not my fault at all that I didn't receive any e-mails from Revdex.com not even in my spam.I am attaching everything here once again, it has the article and the ticket I purchased.Best Regards,*** ***

I have already went through the process suggested by Egyptair representative 5 months ago. Further, I have waited more than the suggested period of 21 days and still haven't recieved my refund to this day. As I have previously mentioned, the online refund request was made on September 2016. I see no reason why I should go through the process once again especially when Egyptair has proved their negligence and lack of professionalism over the course of the last 5 months.
