After performing any repair, we do a quality control inspection and road testwhen appropriateYou were informed of the brake pulsation that time.You brought the vehicle back because you saw the fluid stain on the rear brakebacking plate and assumed there was another leak.I asked you about the brake pedal pulsation, but the morning you brought thevehicle back to the shop after only miles you said the brakes were notpulsatingI explained there could be slight pulsation from surface rust after aseason of storage and that we could inspect the front brakes for you, but youdeclined.To satisfy your complaint we took the rear tires and drums off again to re-inspectthe wheel cylindersNo leak was found and the brake backing plate was cleanedthen the drums and tires were installed.You brought your problem to my attention and you are asking for remedy that isoutside of the scope of the repair we performed.Many reputable repair shops provide a warranty adjustment period for the partsthat they replace, I do not warrant or stand behind the parts or repair done atanother unrelated shop.Kern D***Kern’s Auto Inc

I have been a customer of Kern’s Complete Auto Care for over a decadeDuring this situation, I have hoped that Kern D*** would do the right thing and accept responsibility for my front brakes that were damaged by his road testingIt was unfortunate that I had to file a complaint with the Revdex.com to try to achieve this goal
Originally the owner, in a moment of refreshing candor, admitted that my front brakes worked smoothly at the beginning of his test drive but after a series of “aggressive braking” maneuvers he believed my brakes eventually became so overheated they became warped
Even after I complained, he never offered to inspect my front brakes, he told me my motorhome was perfectly safe for travel with my familyLater, he tried to convince me it was just rust on my front rotors
I sent two letters to his shop and tried my best to talk to him, and finally gave up
In the end, I took my motorhome to *** ***, for a test drive and brake inspection, where it was determined my two front rotors had been warped and damagedI felt it was best for my family’s safety to get this settled and have properly working brakes
The facts have shown that my motorhome brakes were damaged and believe that Kern's Complete Auto Care should send me a refund.Sincerely,*** ***
